Tandoori Hut Indian Restaurant

I absolutely adore the food! The service and staff are simply awesome. Since I recently moved to Benalla, Tandoor has become a total life saver for me.

What can I say?! I have been coming to Benalla for the last few weeks to install an exhibition at the Art Gallery. If only I'd known about Tandoori Hut I would have been eating here once a week on my visits to this wonderful town. Tonight we had 15 people and needed dinner. What a pleasure it was to eat this delicious food, freshly prepared for us as a takeaway by the wonderful chefs at Tandoori Hut. The food was DELICIOUS! Fresh, aromatic, plentiful and beautifully spiced. The pickles were particularly great also. We had a multitude of dishes and not even 15 people could get close to finishing all the food. The price came in at well under $20/head. Great value! Thank you Tandoori Hut! We will be back! Wonderful meal! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Tandoori Hut is one of the few places that do he delivery. The wait was about an hour so they must have been busy in but definitely worth the wait.

We got 3 curries and palak pakoda for starters. The palak pakoda had a sweet sauce to match which was a great match for the crunchy and slightly bitter taste.

You're able to choose the level of spice for each dish from mild, medium and spicy. We got one medium spice dish (mango chicken) which I didn't really notice a difference I. Spice level but it was tasty nonetheless.

All of the meat was tasty, cooked well and tender. The flavours of each curry were REALLY good! Plenty of flavour, variety in flavours and plenty of curry sauce.

Now I know where to go for a good Indian in Benalla. Must dine in next time!

Started off ordering a Kingfisher, received a James Boags premium which was proudly presented as a Kingfisher. Probably a more sensible option considering I was driving.
Toilets a solid 3.5/5 generous in size and didn’t feel the need to hover.
Started with an entree of spring rolls. The menu said 8, we received 10. The first feather in the cap for the Tandoori Hut.
Once we got to the business end of the night the food 100% could not be faulted! 11/10. Wholesome, fresh and well spiced Indian food. The hero of the day went to the Goat Madras.
Thank you Tandoori Hut. We look forward to our next visit.

Awesome Indian food in Benall on the way to Bright. Lots of dinning space available. Have access to pram. Nice food. Must try Mango lassi. Lots of onions in veg curry but taste was good.

Can confirm that the Tandori Hut is a good choice for quality indian food. We ordered the chicken jalfrezi which had a good balance of spices and heat. Will definitely eat here again.

The food was really delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The customer service was superb.

Had family dinner today friendly waitress most helpful . We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food very tasty and delicious.

What a find! This was some of the most authentic and delicious Indian food I have ever eaten. The lamb in my curry was so soft and tender. Absolutely delicious!

My husband & I haddinner there last night. Wow, the food was delicious. I asked for mild heat and my husband ask for medium heat, both were as we ordered and both generous servings.
I am happy to say the service was good considering there was only one wait staff there, she was very busy but kept a smile and pleasant welcoming manner during our whole visit. We understand the current staff shortages plaguing most hospitality venues, so well done to her.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely returning.

Excellent food. Heat level was exactly as expected. Serving size was generous. Service was efficient and came with a smile. All at very reasonable prices. Will definitely return.
