Corio Bay Medical Centre

I've been attending this clinic for 14+ years. ALL services offered by the clinic are above expectation. Both myself and two members of my family require serious attention at all appointments. This clinic is above standard, operating with many on-site facilities and exceptionally well qualified staff. My GP spends many, many hours in self training and training new GP's. Corio Bay Medical Centre is conscious about the quality of care it offers, but also the standard of their many practioners.
The old Aussie saying, 'good enough is okay', DOES NOT work at this clinic. They aim to provide better than that, and 99.9% of the time, they manage that, among their many patients with many medical issues.

If you cannot get an appointment, it's simply because Corio Bay Medical Centre is THE BEST and their practioners cannot legally take on more patients. As an on-going patient, sure I understand that you have to wait. It means that your preferred GP is dealing with someone and ENSURING their quality care at all levels. I'd rather wait than be flipped and then later find my medical care was in haste and something was missed.
EVERY staff member at this practice functions above average standards and takes their role seriously and professionally. I guess that is why it is hard for new patients to get in. However, when time is available, I've seen emergencies come in, which are dealt with in a time sensitive manner, professionally and due privacy.
'Good enough', simply isn't at Corio Bay Medical Centre. They aim above that, always and with integrity.

In 10 years I went to my appointment 10-15 minutes early and the Dr. called me after 30 minutes to an hour and I never complaint it but one time I been there 8 minutes late and the Dr. didn’t see me .
It’s really not faire!!

The reception is very unprofessional and irresponsible and they don't care about the patient's condition. I was in bad condition several times and needed a doctor, but they didn't give me an appointment and said you have to wait a week or two or three weeks!!, even if you are dying, and I caught a cold many times. And I waited for it to get better without medicine, the only thing they don't care about is the client, I had a severe heartache and went to the doctor, and gave me the wrong medicine and I visited several times, only to change the medicine, the receptionist tells me that I have to wait. We will give you an appointment for several days or two weeks!!!!

What’s the point of giving appointments if your gonna make people wait for hours?

My mother went in to see the doctor early last year in January with a lump on her wrist and was sent off to do some tests after we went back the doctor said it was all good only a gangling and was put on a non urgent waiting list at the hospital and months went by this thing was growing went back and still nothing to worry about now we find out it was a cancer and life threatening wrong diagnosis be aware now my mothers life is in jeopardy
