A wonderful patch of bushland nestled in the Brisbane suburbs. A great variety of well maintained gravel tracks suitable for walking or mountain bikes. Plenty of park benches to sit and have a rest along the way and good signage. A good view of the city skyline from the top of the hill.

We come here for a trail walk in the morning, nicely shades some parts, a fair few benches scattered around and a bubbler part way through. Fair fee mozzies so bring repellent. Lots of dogs get walked here. Few holy sections but great local spot for a bush walk without the crowds.

Nestled between Richmond Roads Cannon Hill, D’arcy Rd Seven Hills and Adjoining Morningside, Carina and Norman Park; Seven Hills Reserve is a beautiful bushland reserve. Accessible by each of these suburbs, with dirt paths leading across the span of it. Some paths are flat, some hilly to get the glutes working. The flora and fauna changes with the seasons, and it’s a beautiful thing to have a local bushland area like this so close to the city. Definitely one of my local faves for walk and talk catch up, as it’s a generous sized expanse of bush filled area. Great to take the dog for an explore, too. Close to Blue Poppy Cafe and the pizzeria, in Morningside if you need to caffeinate or refuel after your walk.

We love this place. You can go around the bushland, go a bit higher on the top, sit on the bench and enjoy the atmosphere. Nice place for jogging if you are a fan to train in difficult conditions (stones, height difference).

Relaxing place, can do hiking with friends. But we just enjoyed the view on top. Very clean and nature friendly.

Steep in sections with lots of hills (possibly 7 but I didn’t count), loose gravel and dirt tracks. It’s a simple main circuit with a few extras, all in we did 6k. Very easy to follow and well sign posted. Sadly haven't seen many birds when we’ve visited but always hopefully for the next outing. Unspectacular but an enjoyable walk, the dog always has fun.

Great spot for a walk if you are a local. Trails are well marked out, lots of butterflies and birds around the reserve. It is hilly in some parts but accessible to all ages and fitness groups. Highly recommended.

Hilly, but not too difficult. Well signposted. Bushland in suburbia.

Peaceful bush walking area low to no foot traffic on any given day.

Dog friendly on leash only.

A handful of park benches to use scattered around on the paths.

A great place to just be away from the rush of modern life and society.

What a cool little spot! Randomly decided to come here to get a nature fix and there's plenty of short and moderate hikes. Dog friendly too.

Such a beautiful, natural space amongst the inner southern suburbs. Lots of very well maintained walking tracks but make sure you concentrate on where you are going and have been. As well as chatting while we walked, we also decided to explore some of the smaller off-shoot tracks which was just lovely. We ended up making a couple of wrong turns but who cares when you are in such beautiful surroundings.

Tranquil bush land reserve in the close proximity of the surrounding neighbourhoods. The bushland has a wonderful circuit with well marked posts.
Lots of beautiful butterflies.
Well frequented by locals and dogs.
Signs indicate Koalas are present in the bushland.
I however did not spot a Koala ( at 10 am) but I will definitely head back at cooler times (perhaps earlier in the day or at sunset) to see if I get lucky.

Great bushland area. Dirt tracks are pretty easy to walk, fairly well signposted, and in good condition. Some running water in wet season. Good place to walk the dog on lead, although a fair number are off lead. Council are known to hand out tickets, so beware! Peaceful and relaxing.
