I brought my car in here for a log-book service and Miguel was extremely friendly and upfront with all the potential costs involved. They were also able to fit my car in straightaway for further work as it wasn't dealt with at the first go showing that they are not afraid to be accountable to their customers. I’ve had a few jobs done by the gap mechanical over the last 2 years. As a female with little car knowledge and a 30yr old car Dario has been great very understanding and honest. I’ve had service, new part installation and brake lines replaced by them all have been done quickly. they even made me a new dip stick after noticing during servicing my car that I needed one. I’m glad I’ve found this place and recommend to my friends lovely family business

This will be the only mechanic I go to from now on. As a women I'm always nervous to go to the mechanic alone but after coming here I'm no longer nervous. And can trust that I'm in safe hands. The customer service was amazing. I got a call in the day with a quote and an update of what urgently needed doing if I couldn't afford everything. They are so reliable and efficient with their services. Very very impressed!!!

I (and now my son) have been using Dario and his team for some years now. I could not recommend them more highly. Dario used to be an RACQ serviceman: he is knowledgeable, helpful and extremely accommodating in terms of 'fitting us in'. He goes out of his way to help us, no matter what the situation. What a excellent service. I got more than I asked for. The owner it's such a good, honest guy with more than 20 years experience as a mechanic. He help me a lot with my car. I'm pretty sure your car will be on a good hands.

My car broke down last week, and my usual mechanic could not fit me in. I called around and Dario not only squeezed me in, he had me back on the road by midday! He was courteous and explained clearly what went wrong and what needed to be done. I'll be booking my car back in soon for my scheduled service!

I've used The Gap Mechanical multiple times now and I've never been disappointed. Dario is a great guy and an honest friendly owner. Reasonable prices and I've never been up sold or scammed (like I have been elsewhere) and any ongoing issue I've had, he's bent over backwards trying to solve. I've recommended him and his crew to my family and friends and I will continue to use them with 100% confidence.

We were looking for a new mechanic as our other retired. We were recommended by friends that The Gap Mechanical was very good. Also my wife working in the Gap, made the choice alot easier. The team are awesome, friendly, give good honest advice. Are up front and always in communication with you as the job is being carried out. they saved us alot of money and prepared to go that extra mile to make sure we are satisfied. They are good old fashioned service.

Always super honest, and quick turn around. Whenever having an issue they are happy to have a look at it that day, and usually will get it back to me within the next day or two. Also Great price, never feel like I’m being overcharged for the service.

Honest, experienced, and trustworthy.
They are upfront about whats worth spending money on immediately, what's necessary in future, and what's worth saving up for, so no massive surprise bills at every service! I always get my car back from them in top condition (they even washed it).
Excellent customer care and they know their stuff...for my last service they told me more about my car than the previous owner did!

Great team and service, I highly recommend. I had a lot of work to be completed on my van, but Lachlan and Dario kept in contact with me throughout the process and even waivered some additional costs. I am always dubious about car costs as I am no mechanic and my knowledge of cars is limited.... but I felt these guys were genuinely trying to do a good job. Much appreciated, I will definitely be recommending to The Gap community.

Dario is an absolute ledgend, even though fully booked, he did a diagnostic, sourced replacement parts, and had me motoring again within a day to continue my travels.
Dario's great nature and proffessional attention eased my stress and my 23 year old 4WD feels and sounds like a brand new car again.

I was very impressed by their mechanic's knowledge, and the quote was very reasonable to fix my car. I felt valued as a customer and communicate was excellent. I would highly recommend these guys. I'm definately going back again for my next service.
