Coles The Gap

Took the family here, Freddy was impressed by the Aisian cuisine on display.

I don't normally review places especially not Coles. I also don't normally interact with staff but had to purchase baby formula which required staff interaction to remove the stealing protection thing which I was not really eager to do as I am very antisocial. However, we were served by Terrence today and he was extremely polite, and was a very warm and welcoming person and treated us as if he were a friend and knew us! It felt really good to be treated this way and I thank him for brightening up our day by just being him :)

I am not sure what her name is, but the lovely lady who packed my jumbo, Greek salad did such an amazing job! She took her time to make sure the container was filled to the brim with evenly distributed ingredients. Thank you for your time and effort!

Very busy on a Saturday but do have a good variety

I can only speak very highly of this store. On numerous occasions the staff have surprised me with their most helpful, unexpected, courteous and obliging attitude towards me as a general shopper. Well done Coles Managers and Staff at The Gap, give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back!

A nice suburban supermarket with helpful, friendly staff. Today a staff member helped me pay at the self checkout using an e-giftcard on my phone. I hadn't done it before, and it was a little confusing, so I guess I'm officially old now. 😂

The ladies at the promotion stands definitely knew there product.
Was a bit peckish while i was shopping and and thought id get a free nibley at one of the stands.
Gourmet lamb and thyme sausages and the stone baked rye bread. The way they spoke and interacted, was not pushy at all, they knew there stuff and were just so happy and inviting.
Wasnt what i came in for but definitely having it for tea tonight😊

Left a bag full of cans and bottles at the checkout and almost made it out the door before the lovely Loradana caught up with me near the chemist Her extra effort was greatly appreciated

Excellent supermarket in the area. Very neat and well presented. Very well stocked with most grocery items. Customers can also benefit from in-house deli, bakery and meat departments.

I appreciate the convenient location of this grocery store, as it saves me time and effort.

I met a young lad named Elliot and he was very helpful today. He seemed very professional yet friendly and he helped me locate the weetbix and milk section. 5 stars

Completely the opposite to Ashgrove. Very large and spacious. Well stocked with heaps of checkouts. Lots of friendly staff to help out.

So little known factoid for people considering visiting Coles at the gap.. there's now an ALDI there too! This in my case liberates me to give the joint 5 stars.. but in all seriousness this is a good little shopping centre.. the bricks at our old house were scavenged from its predecessor so I reckon that means I've been going there for at least 30 years.. but they keep the place looking fresh because they're the fresh food people.. erm.. nah thats woolies eh. In a sense this little shopping centre does keep reinventing itself. We had maccas latch on to general outcry about 18 years back but the sky didnt fall in and the kids are still relatively skinny. Big shame the Butcher and the Mitre 10 left a few years back, but kudos to the shoe repairer and the newsagent both of which have real staying power.. been there since I was a kid which is roughly 150 years ago. Some new kids on the block such as Jimmy Rods Barber definitely worth a look in. Its also definitely worth spending a couple hours sitting at the Chinese takeaway gazing at the fake bird kite on tge roof of the main shopping centre - its rad. Local knowledge tip - parking at the gap passtime club end under Aldi makes the experience much better. Don't tell anyone.. shh!

Coles is directly in The Gap Village Shopping Centre at 1000 Waterworks Road, approximately a 0.2 km driving distance south of the centre of The Gap (not far from The Gap Village and Walton Bridge Reserve). This supermarket is an excellent addition to the local businesses of Glen Oaks Estate, Fernbrook, Chandlers Corner, Walton's Retreat, Saint Johns Wood, The Gap Town Centre and Bardon West.

Great local, several good specialty stores, aldi, with plenty of undercover parking. This Coles has a great deli with a fantastic cheese selection.

Really is good value for money all round for everyday grocery items.

Not crowded at all which is a welcome relief and about as relaxing as a post Christmas grocery shop can get. 👍😁
