Really delicious authentic food and amazing bar. Seafood and steak dishes go perfect with the cozy and gorgeous location.

Absolutely love this place. It is a legacy and has been around since the 90’s for a reason. Whilst other places focus on aesthetic, this place delivers great service and great food. It’s a cute spot with a great neighbourhood vibe and all the local go there. The owners are always there and remember your name and favourite dishes! Nothing beats a restaurant that feels like sharing a meal at home with friends. Oh and did I mention it is BYO? And the cheese chicken entree is a fan favourite! You’re welcome!

We’ve been to Cha Cha a few times now and it’s always lovely. A great atmosphere, delicious food and so affordable - a favourite! The staff and owner were so nice & welcoming.

Had the miso steak for the first time tonight and it was one of the tastiest pieces of meat I’ve ever had. I usually play it safe and stick with teriyaki (chicken, salmon, etc), which are also great.

The green tea is authentic, nothing in a tea bag.

The aromas of walking past Cha Cha pulls you in for an excellent dining experience at a casual environment. Great customer service and with a smile. Lovely that the owner Jack was walking around and introducing himself and making sure the food was perfect and the service. The meals came out promptly and the food was brilliant and of high standard. For a last-minute thought for a place for dinner and a budget-conscious night out, I highly recommend Cha Cha. Given the outside dining would suit wheelchair access. Kid-friendly as well. BYO with alcohol which is value for the budget Conscience.

Great for a night out with your loved one! The food is different from Aussie cuisine. But good: Get informed about the Japanese kitchen or ask the Chef! I loved it, and so did my wife!

I have been dining at chacha since the 90s, almost every 3-4 days. The food is outstandingly tasty, service is second to none. Prices are in line with the trend and represent very good value for money.
Lately also licenced and BYO as well.
I have been to many Japanese estabilishments in aust and in Japan! Chacha is the best I have ever experienced.

Just superb overly friendly and delicious. Atmosphere is out of this world everyone seems to be having a fabulous time every time I'm here. Value for money is outstanding as well. A must-visit if you're on the coast.

Their front was kinda busy and loud but despite that they were able to get our food out incredibly quickly and it all tasted so good! I tried variety of flavours with my girlfriend and we both loved it.

The staff here were very friendly, and offered a good range of meals and beverages. I tried the teriyaki beef - DELICIOUS! Will remember to come back here the next time I take a holiday 👍

Cha cha is a seriously good spot, the best bit is that the decor is really old, the staff are very busy all the time so it's hard to get their attention. But the food, the food is amazing, priced very cheap and packs a punch.
Would recommend the butter garlic prawns, the red chilli oil dumplings and the pepper tataki beef. Holy hell does this food pump some taste into your veins

Incredible place, lovely venue the atmosphere was terrific, the food was really amazing best Japanese cuisine I’ve ever had! Great customer service, staff was friendly and polite. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Enjoyed a Sunday afternoon lunch here. It’s BYO (there is a BWS two stores down) and they provided wine glasses for us. I ordered spring rolls, chicken wings, edamame and I tried Takoyaki for the first time. I was a bit disappointed because they had sold out of their scallops which I hear are really good and I really wanted to try. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cha cha is a great Japanese restaurant. Foods were amazing! We ordered Tempura, Salmon Sashimi and Prawn Starter. All were amazing. The owner or the staffs were great. They treat us so well. We brought our bottle of wine there and they provide wine glasses for us. Very great!

Really great service, friendly staff and the meals came out very quickly. All the food was exceptional, super clean and great value. Highly recommend, and big fan of the byo.

This is the third time I have been to this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is always very good. I had the seafood curry udon last night and it was superb.
