The reason I found Simon's leadership coaching so essential is his humanity. His emotional intelligence is off the charts, and his teachings are so intuitive and pragmatic that I find myself using them just as much socially and in my own relationship as I do on set when I'm directing feature films.

When everything is going well, film sets are intensely stressful, with 100 strangers suddenly thrown together with limited resources. But introduce a few bad apples, just a couple big swinging egos, and the already difficult circumstances can become a nightmare for everybody.
