Had a great meal here tonight, staff were friendly with prompt greetings and attentive to order. Meals came out quickly and did not disappoint. Am visiting, but would recommend and eat at again. (not the best pics I know, my fault not the foods!)

If you know how to dine out, you know that when a restaurant has a relatively limited menu, it’s because the food is well-considered, made fresh and not frozen. The menu that was given on the night was slightly different to the one I read online. I can only assume that if they weren’t able to source the produce/ingredients then they’re not going to serve something sub-par just to try and meet expectations.

Entree: mussels in tomato sugo (yum! Though I would have preferred the bread toasted as the crust was very very chewy)

Mains: tomato-based lamb ragu pappardelle (much sweeter than I expected but not in a bad way), and cream-based mushroom and bacon spaghetti (quite decadent so it was nice to be able to jump between the two dishes) - both very generous portions

Dessert: vanilla sponge with Oreo buttercream and topped with ganache, meringue and Hersey’s chocolates (tasted exactly how it reads. Too big to finish but no extra charge to takeaway :) )

The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Be sure to order the olives and salami to start. The marinara and gnocchi were both divine!

One of the best if not the best Italian in GC. Do yourself a favour and try this place. Fresh ingredients, excellent cooking techniques and decent service.

Excellent vibe, atmosphere and menu. Diverse range of options both in the food and drink department and I will be having dreams about the chicken schnitzel. Outside dining at night would recommend.

Wow, where do I start?
The food. Was absolutely amazing. The pasta was so fresh and the flavours were an assault on my taste buds in the best possible way!
Dessert was the dreamiest cheesecake I have ever encountered. Rich base with a soft and creamy middle and fresh blueberries on top.
Beautiful service from a smiling and attentive waitress.
One of the best all round dining experiences we have had for a long time. Definitely recommend this establishment and will certainly be back if we're ever holidaying here again.

Seriously the best pasta I have had in a long time! The flavours were amazing, and it was so nicely presented. Everything we ordered was top notch. Highly recommend for children as well, my four year old devoured her pasta! The desserts were also very yummy. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back for more! 10/10 experience!

We were a group of four adults visiting this lovely authentic Italian restaurant for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. It will not be our last visit. The food was so delicious and fresh and beautifully presented and the table service was excellent too. The owner Robert who prepares the food is friendly and aims to please always . The ambience was pleasant ,gas heaters for outside and a great selection of wines were available. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant and the friendly staff.

We had an incredible dinner at the Italian Kitchen Co - Fantastic food with exquisite flavours, presented beautifully. We tried a range of meals and loved all of them! Wonderful service and smiling helpful waiters. We will definitely be back. Great atmosphere under beautiful fairy lights make for a special night!

We’ve eaten Italian at close to 100 Italian restaurants in QLD, and the meals here would have to be among the best. Wonderful staff, wonderful service, lovely atmosphere. 10/10 will be taking family here many times in future.

Early dining at 5.30. Finished 3 courses by 7pm. Perfect. We overheard they were short staffed however we didn't notice it at all. The South Australia mussels starter was divine and the prawn spag just as good. Shared the cheesecake to finish our dining experience. A busy little hub and worth checking out.

This was hands down the finest italian I have experienced on the Gold Coast. The service was great and staff were so genuine. The meals were generous and the seafood was the freshest I have experienced in some time. Awesome value. Do yourself a favour and book a table. We will DEFINITELY be back! ☺

Amazing food and amazing service. A very welcoming place which delights the taste buds with delicious flavours.
The pappardelle with the slow cooked lamb was delicious . The flavours complemented each other so well. We also had the Sword Fish. The flavour of Sword fish was elevated by the wonderful sauce. The starter was great. A highly recommended place whether for a couple, family, friends or any occasion. The staff are friendly and help decide with menu.

Came here tonight with my brother, sister in-law and kids. Amazing find. Hands down, this is the best Italian outside of Italy. The seafood entree’s we’re spot on and the Gold Coast king prawns the biggest I have ever seen. The pasta and gnocchi even better than I had in Italy. They were heaps busy but service was great. Do yourself a favour and try these guys out you won’t regret it.

I’ve been to the Italian Kitchen twice, and I will always come back ( Blue swimmer grab pasta is to dieeeee for, and the tiger prawn pasta which I had tonight was amazing). Tonight one of their wait staff just done a no show, and the Service and food was still amazing, and to be surprised with complimentary dessert that’s a BONUS to me. I will continue to highly recommend this amazing buisness. ☺

We had an antipasto platter and blue swimmer crab pappardelle. Very filling with lots of flavours. Would definitely recommend for an evening out, even with a toddler! (which we did)
Also, highly recommend the pinot noir 🍷

Amazing food great service! The best seafood I've ever had in my life (please order the Calamari, melts in your mouth) the rocket salad and the crab pasta were ridiculous delicious, we were in 6 for the first time and everybody left absolutely satisfied and happy with the huge portions!

We had a sensational dinner here and they even accommodated our late reservation request. Their pizzas are cooked perfectly and the toppings are simple and flavoursome. The stand out was their pappardelle with spanner crab, sensational handmade pasta cooked perfectly. Cost is very reasonable and it's byo, pair this with a quaint setting and great service and you're in for a great night.

We were sad to read that Pinocchio's had closed down but wanted to give the Italian Kitchen Co a try.
We were blown away! Even though we had been in the restaurant 3 times over the past few years on this occasion it was unrecognisable!
The menu is very different from family friendly Pinocchio's but it is good different.
We started with local prawns that were grilled to perfection and delicious.
I then had spaghetti with pippies and loves every bite. The spaghetti was something else and cooked to perfection. The pippies were new for me and definitely worth the gamble.
My wife had gnocchi that was equally delicious.
We finished with a perfectly put together tiramisu.
Our only suggestion would be to be a bit quicker to refresh customers drinks but that's easily fixed.
We had a great night and will be back on our next trip up this way.
