Today we received the best service at your branch in Helensvale. The young lady who looked after us was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much for her. Being Seniors it was a pleasure to have someone with patience. She installed a St.George app on our phone showed us how to use it and gave us many more tips on different accounts. We have been with St.George for many years and today we learned more about our accounts and your products than in all the years we have been banking with you.
The young lady in question is Grace Moussa. The most pleasant trip to any bank we have ever had. She is a valuable asset to your organization. Treat her well

I recently returned to Australia after living and working abroad and really needed in-person assistance from my bank as I looked to settle back in… and Grace was incredible. She was not only friendly and helpful, but she was empathetic and understanding as I shared my banking anxieties. By the time I left I felt entirely comfortable with my banking situation, and confident that if I ever needed help that I couldn’t find through the app or online, that Grace and her team were there to help.

Most banks these days give very very poor service and only care about profits. Our experience with St George at Helensvale has been fantastic. SIAN customer service specialist is the most helpful person a bank could ask for, people like her are priceless to keep a good business running. Banks are closing there doors all over this country which proves my point that they only care about how much they make in profits, they don't care about people, having only one or two tellers when the line is outside the door because of closures on a daily basis, staff shortages makes it very hard for the ones left in the bank to deal with customer complaints and angry people all because of greed, service has declined dramatically. Sincere thanks to Siah for all the wonderful care and consideration she provided to my very elderly mother who despite having dementia still wants to know what is going on with her finances. Siah displayed great kindness which is greatly appreciated.

I don’t even bank with StGeorge but I want to leave this review! I’ve been there a few times with my mum who has an account. Every time, people there are super friendly, helpful and patient. Even things that are a little tricky, they try to go out of the way to help and assist as much as they can. Thank you!

Not directed at Helensvale branch directly but there are a huge amount of hoops you need to get through to simply add Apple Pay to a phone. This is my 14 year old son’s account and this experience has probably put him off banking for life

The verification processes has taken approximately 3 hours of phone time and 1 hour at this branch and still not resolved. I am now locked out as I am unable to provide the correct answer to the 5 or 6 security questions. My son was baffled by the questions so I came to help. He was promptly told to take the phone off speaker and now we are locked out

I will be closing this account immediately

This morning I received a call from Karen in St G saying that there is an urgent matter about my account which she couldn't discuss through the phone and asked me to attend the branch urgently. I dropped everything and head to St G at Helensvale to find that she only wanted to prompt to me on of their products and try to convince me to open a savings account with them.!
Just horrible

Disgusted with St George bank completely but not Helensvale. Went to Australua Fair today, because internet site said it was open until 4pm. Went there to bank small amount of cash, only to find there is no St George bank there anymore. WHY DOESN'T THE BANK AT LEAST LET CUSTOMERS KNOW THAT THE BRANCH IS CLOSED OR UPDATE THEIR ONLINE? As a a pensioner and a customer since it was the St George Bldg Society in Hurstville, will decide to take my account elsewhere. Banks obviously don't care about the little people and only care about big business and share holders.
