Moonta Bay Jetty

Moonta Bay, Port Hughes is one of my favourite destinations in South Australia. Beautiful beaches with the sun setting over the water makes it absolute paradise. Moonta Bay has a good shopping district with plenty of good accommodation and dining possibilities.

A long jetty reaching out into the clear blue waters. A good scenic walk with views to Port Hughes. Lots of fishing opportunities, judging by the fishermen we saw. There's plenty of parking and amenities, also a play area for kids. Just a lovely quiet spot to take a break & enjoy the long beach walks

This is a very busy jetty for both swimming and fishing. Plenty of squid, whiting, Tommy ruffs. Walking distance from the caravan park, waterpark and Cafe.

Quite a long jetty. Visitors like to swim inside the bay area for their safety against shark attack. Not many people there even if it's the weekend. Plenty of carpark around.

Great weather on the day, locals were friendly and talkative..

Had a coffee , look about , water world play area for kids , caravan pk near by .

I had visiting Moonta Bay recently, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed by the town's natural beauty, stunning beaches, and friendly locals. I would highly recommend Moonta Bay to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday destination. The town's natural beauty, friendly locals, and diverse attractions make it an excellent choice for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. I cannot wait to return to this charming seaside town in the future.

We walked out on the beautiful jetty may not look like as we are are at the sign! It’s a beautiful place

Kids enjoyed the splash town and beach. I prefer to go there when it high tide. Crystal clear water.

Great spot for a family holiday

Great little walk to the end of the pier, playground, and shop. Lovely stop for an hours break to let the kids out.

Beautiful place to stroll the Jetty or fish. Lovely beach to swimming or stroll. Dog friendly. Safe for small children to play in the sand

It is beautiful place and is like a swimming pool.

There is plenty to do around here. The water park, fishing, swimming in the enclosed area, cafe and caravan park. Our grandies had fun all round.

Great place to stay. Great shopping and places to eat.

A great place to unwind the nature and it’s beauty!! You can also experience snorkelling or swimming which is a real fun in the very transparent water.

Moonta Bay Jetty is glorious on a clear sunny day. Sunsets are amazing.
