The Coffee Barn Gelateria Moonta

A friend told us to go & try their pancakes which were amazing we can't recommend them more highly enough absolutely fantastic 😀 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Beautiful surrounding. The owner add a touch of creativity in doing up the decor and garden. There's indoor and outdoor seatings available. There's cakes, waffles, gelatos, drinks and many more to order. Since it was a hot day, we bought tropical drink, milkshake and ice-creams to quench our thirst. Friendly staff. Ample parking place. Must not miss this place when you're in Moonta.

Went here today for the first time and the ambiance was welcoming and customers, both adults and kids are in good mood.. must be the delicious gelato!

We tried coffee and strawberry flavoured ones with our pancake and it was an absolute divine! Can compete with the gelato sold in Venice for exorbitant xx euros! What’s surprising is the cost, it’s only $4! A good deal. The lady at the cashier was really friendly and accommodating. 👍🏼 Too bad waffles were out, we would have tried that as well. Maybe next time 😉

There’s also enough parking space.

This is a great little hidden gem.

We had the wolfe's & ice cream (to share), and coffee & green tea, it was great, you really couldn't folt any of it.

I'll definitely be coming back here again...

Lovely place. Absolutely fantastic gelato and very good pancakes too. Slight markdown for rather average coffee and no savoury options. The most delicious desert place we know of in Moonta and about. Highly recommended,

What a find, heard about it, did a recon, sampled the gelato and back the next day! Just minutes out of the Moonta CBD, this place has so many deliciously sweet options, all made on-site. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!

Awesome food. pancakes were nice with awesome italian custard and liquor apricots. Gelato was great with heaps of flavour, big range to choose from.

Milkshake was good as was the coffee.

Food came out pretty quick but apparently it can get pretty busy there which causes a wait time. well worth it in my opinion.

Went here for a family holiday to Moonta and had to stop in for a coffee and an ice cream. The staff were lovely, and the did and beverages were delightful.

Amazing experience coming here. Kids absolutely loved it.

The service was friendly and personal.

Our tiny puppy was welcomed also.

Can't wait to come back!

This place is awesome I love the pancakes and same as my family this is a little secret place but we’ll did up the only thing is there are no savoury items on the menu it's a 30 minute drive for me and it’s worth it it’s a good place and definitely will be coming back here

We didn’t realise this little cafe only accepted cash before arriving, so we had to drive back to Moonta- make sure you have cash on you when you visit. Homemade truffles were delicious and my son enjoyed the gelato. Some unusual flavours that will take you back to Italy...

A lovely spot to stop with the family. Games to play, plenty of space, friendly staff and of course delicious gelato!

OMG this place has the best Gelato. You can get it in cones & cups. Amazing flavours (Almond & Fig is a must). Also you can have it in a milkshake too. This service was excellent & very friendly 😊

Fantastic service, fantastic ice cream.
We stopped in briefly for some ice cream and loved it. It's a little out of the way (relatively speaking - realistically it's only a few minutes out of Moonta), but defintiely worth going.
The staff were really nice, and the three ice cream flavours we tried were awesome. There's also some other nice little touches such as board and card games if you're there with kids.
Next time we pass through, will definitely visit again to try the food!
