Troy has been a fantastic guitar teacher for my daughter over the last 4 years. Her playing and enthusiasm for guitar has developed so much since starting with Troy. He is super engaging and builds such a great rapport which is no mean feat when dealing with teenagers! I would highly recommend Troy and Nepean District Music Academy!

The Nepean Diatrict Music Academy provides a friendly and professional music learning environment with greater flexibility than the bigger music schools. Troy is a highly knowledgeable and experienced guitar teacher who structures and paces lessons to suit student's individual goals and needs, whilst making sessions enjoyable and beneficial. I highly recommend the NDMA.

It's a pretty relaxed environment to learn in with dedicated rooms for each instrument, I'm very much enjoying the piano lessons. I don't even drop my head when the next regular student (who is 50 years my junior) shows me up, lol, but I look forward to each class. Would highly recommend

I've been going there for 2 years. Awesome teacher,.listens and tells you you're problems or mistakes which is important. I travel a long way to go there and it's worth it. He challenges you but gets you where you want to be. First teacher that has been able to teach me to read music and stuck. I highly recommend him amd his studio

Nepean District Music Academy is run with passion for music. They individualise and listen to the students needs .
My girls love it!

My 2 daughters & myself have been going to Nepean Music Academy for quite a few years now. Over this time we have had guitar & keyboard lessons, & myself & my youngest daughter are currently still receiving vocal coaching with Julie. My eldest daughter took up music at school at the beginning of year 11, bit of a late bloomer !!! Troy also teaches music theory courses & with his help & dedication my daughter was able to pass all of her year 11 & 12 music exams. Julie has also coached myself through a very hard time dealing with vocal nodules & has more recently vocal coached me through my first ever competition where I attained a moderate degree of success. Over the years spent being coached by the Nepean Music Academy I can honestly say that my family has experienced a vast improvement in our abilities & talents, the staff are always friendly & professional, & I now count Troy & Julie as firm friends rather than just being a client of theirs. Thank you so much !!!

My 7 year old son has been learning guitar with Troy for the past 18months and is really enjoying the art of guitar. Troy is very patient and teaches him the correct way starting with the basics and I would recommend this school to anyone interested in learning an instrument.

If you or your kids love singing and are looking for some vocal lessons, I highly recommend Julie at NDMA! Julz is a lovely lady, patient and funny and has years of experience.
With hubby Troy, they have a great set up in the heart of Penrith offering drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and piano tuition also, do yourself a favour and pop in for a visit or give them a call! ☺

Have been learning guitar with Troy for 18 months at Nepean Music Academy. I decided to take up guitar at the ripe old age of 41. Highly recommend this place. Great environment to learn to play an instrument

I've been a student at Nepean District Music Academy for close to 9 years. I've had a few different teachers and they are all excellent. I often have to change times because of work and other commitments and they are very flexible. They are also very happy to teach what I want to learn. I really enjoy the lessons. Highly recommended.

All three of my children have learnt guitar at Nepean District Music Academy. This school is by far the best, quality teachers that teach in a manner that that kids love and excel at, highly recommend.

Our son had music lessons With Troy for many years and went on to play in an up and coming band! The professionalism and friendliness of all the staff is second to none! Thank you Julie and Troy for all your help over the years, looking forward to starting lessons with our grand children soon.
