Smiths Beach General Store

the most overpriced food and drink i have even seen, with coffee and milkshakes being 5-12 dollars for it to taste like mcdonald’s coffee. also the wait time is so long and the barista is so slow i could have learnt how to make a coffee in the time she made it for me. the staff just stand around doing not much. been twice and not going again 😭

I stopped by for a cuppa, and it was a delight meeting the two ladies at the store. The ham cheese toasty was the best I have had in a while; it was closing time, yet they were happy to add a tomato to it without any fuss. I am contemplating calling them about what cheese they had used. It was yummy! Overall, it's a great place to stop by when you are at Smiths Beach.

Delicious food, nice staff and great sitting in and out area. Portion sizes are very generous.

Great food and coffee with fantastic service

Absolutely amazing food! We got BLATs and they were absolutely to die for! Try one of the freshly baked chocolate muffins, they are absolutely delicious and don’t taste like they have too much sugar in them! Highly recommend if your in the area!

Great food at big prices. They are hoping no one cares when in holiday mode!

So happy that these guys exist. Honestly I have thought about their location alot and how they would make a killing simply on being the only Café in area. But they above and beyond, all of their items are amazing. I have never had a bad coffee and every time I walk away with a Big Breakie Roll. It's so delicious and never wrong. Sausage rolls and toasties are amazing too. Honestly I could go on and on but you get the idea. Considering I am in the area frequently I am so glad I can rely on them when I need a pick me up at the beach. Super friendly staff as well! Thank you!

Sarah and Chris are the most wonderful couple, who just took over this store. It is much more than a store for sure! Offering absolutely the best coffee, organic stone-ground whole meal breads, awesome local milk finally in a glass bottle not nasty plastic. ♥ They have delicious home-made pastries. OMG! :P pistachio gelato as well as other flavors. The ladies that work for them like Amanda and Kaitlyn always serve with a warm smile and my coffee was made exactly the way I love it. The energy flows to every customer, because they truly care about what they are doing and their passion is in every bite and sip. So thrilled we found this treasure of a General Store with all kinds of surprises.

Great work by the staff in keeping up and staying safe with the influx of holiday makers on the Island. The fact there even is a busy holiday season is something we are very grateful for, keep up the wonderful job you are doing guys.

Had a great burger and some home made sausage rolls. Very tasty and friendly service. A favourite for us on Phillip Island.

Located a stone's throw from the fabulous Smith's Beach - great for kids - great for surfing - great for walking - great for enjoying the sunrise & sunset. Smith's Beach General Store provides great service, great coffee & great munchies. The go to place to hang out with friends. Highly recommended!

All of the staff are happy to serve and you feel genuinely welcome. They are also very well trained to respond in an emergency as I witnessed when my wife fainted from heat exhaustion.

Good coffee, good treats. Often a bit of a wait, but that could just be current staff shortages. Worth it anyway.

I love this store. The coffee is great, the cakes are awesome and the sandwiches are fantastic... but my fav is the big breaky roll...

Friendly service, very decent coffee. BLAT is on the lighter side but still a good accompaniment.
