Bright Chalet

Highly recommend Bright Chalet. Lovely stay, accommodation very comfortable. A lovely walk into town under the beautiful trees that line Delany Avenue. The gardens are tranquil and lovely. A nice place to read your favourite book with a good coffee or a nice glass of wine. Recharged the batteries ready for 2024!

The Bright Chalet was such a blessing: phenomenal service, great dinner and breakfast, and perfect for families. The owner cares for his guests and does whatever he can to make you comfortable, in fact, the entire staff is that way. They gave us great advice for where to visit (we are not from Australia) and what mountain roads to take. The staff was charming and genuine.

The room was very spacious, with a patio deck overlooking a gorgeous green lawn area and pool, decored with paved paths, lounge seating, and a huge chess set for the kids. We loved the food as well; the chef knows what they’re doing! Plus, the slight distance from the center of town gives the Bright Chalet a beautiful peacefulness to it (we personally do not like being near crowds of people), it was like we were on a mountain getaway—with plenty of parking:)

Bright Chalet was the perfect place for a spring cycling getaway.

I can’t recommend the stay highly enough. Great value for money and the buffet breakfast and dinner are cooked by a chef. So much variety and incredibly good food.

Would definitely stay again.

Why stay in town when you can stay here. Friendly staff, food is fantastic, and grounds are like your own private park. A+

Stayed at the Chalet for 4 nights, the rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. The food was served smorgasbord style as there were 20 of us and it was outstanding a nd the Chef and his staff were lovely.

I had a wonderful stay at Bright Chalet during Easter. Lovely architecture that gives an impression that you are in the Alpine region. The provide a great selection of toast for breakfast and I tried pumpkin bread for the first time (not pumpkin seed bread, but dough made of pumpkin). I loved it so much that I asked the owner to order a loaf for me to take away on my day of check out and it was perfectly arranged. Thanks for introducing me to pumpkin bread!

We booked Bright Chalet for a work retreat in October 22. Michael and his team were extremely accommodating to all of our requests and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was exactly what we all needed for the busy days and nights ahead. Proper country town hospitality. Thank you for providing us a great experience!

Had our ski gear hired here and also my board tuned/serviced. Michael was a very pleasant man who offered great customer service. He was very friendly and I extremely pleased with his work with my snowboard, especially the attention to detail. My wife's ski gear was also really comfortable. Would definitely recommend the ski gear and tuning here with Michael!

The interior of Bright Chalet is a bit outdated but don't let this put you off from booking a room. The backyard is overlooking a beautiful nature scenery with different bird species.
The rooms are fresh and clean. Friendly and professional staff with on-site restaurant. The continental breakfast included in the price didn't have much variety to choose from. We've ordered scrambled eggs and omelette which we've paid extra for. It was very tasteful though. Evening dinner was also deliciously prepared.

Great place to stay . Lovely friendly Staff . Great meals ,nice lounges to relax in, also has a bar . Beautiful outdoor Grounds to relax under the trees & pool . short shaded 10/15 min walk to main street . We will be back .

ski hire - we rented skis and snowboards only, the team were extremely helpful and also offered great advice on the terrain and conditions at mt hotham and falls creek. top quality rental gear at competitive rates

Stayed at the Chalet with our family while attending a wedding in Bright. Rooms are basic, clean and as advertised. The included Breakfast was good and Michael, the host, was helpful.

Hired our ski gears in there. They got awesome staff. Probably the best customer service I ever experienced so far. They’re all very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely come back. 👌🏻

Great service, great location and great atmosphere. Can't recommend the Chalet enough.
Also the ski shop is fantastic and has everything.

We went here to hire some snow gear. It was great, very easy and good service. The lad there was very nice and happy to explain everything to us for newbie questions. Very good prices too! Free chain hire with 2x snowboard or ski hires also awesome.

We had our wedding here in April our day was perfect Fenella and her team done a fantastic job organising our day, made everything very easy, our meal was absolutely outstanding, the bar staff was friendly and fair. We were both so happy how the day went. They put on a amazing breakfast in the morning with all the trimmings highly recommended. Pool is great and rooms are great, only down fall of our weekend was a lot of guests who booked rooms for our wedding didn’t have rooms and he didn’t seem to care either an extreme lack of care from Micheal in front office, it’s unfortunate considering the rest of the bright chalete team all out in 110%! Love the place, beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and tidy. The host has been so accommodating despite our late arrival. The rooms have a gorgeous view. Definitely be back again.

My family and i stayed there for two nights, the food, room and staff were amazing! It was so easy being able to have meals there, hire snow gear and sleep at the same place. I have been recommending it to everyone and planning our next trip back as we speak.

Great firm bed, concierge was friendly and funny, despite being waken at 1130 pm when we arrived. Breakfast was great. Overall, good value place that we would stay at again when we're next in bright
