Corio Bay Roadhouse

Wanted to branch out a bit from the usual freeway servo options - great spot. Old-school, knows what it does and does it well. Worth splitting off the ring road for!

After a late breakfast on a road trip, we wanted something that wasn’t part of a chain. Will definitely return as there was a broad selection and the items we ordered were all of fabulous quality. The outdoor area was very clean and the service kind and efficient. Easy access from the highway and very reasonably priced. Go there.

We always love stopping in on our way home to Melbourne. Great, honest owners with great milkshakes, fried snacks. Their chicken tenders are homemade. Recommend!

The staff are always friendly, no matter when you drop in. The serving sizes are out of this world. The coffee is very good. My favourite spot for a break. Well done team. 😀

Newly renovated, looks fantastic! Always friendly staff and service welcoming. The best food in Corio by far and includes a drive through for ultimate convenience. Their old school jaffles, steak sandwich, chicken burgers and parma’s are 5 star and great price. Coffee to go is great as well. Friendly service and our go to on the way to Geelong from Melbourne.

I can never drive past this place. Fantastic staff and food. Where else can you get a Parma, chips and salad for $20. If in a hurry their jaffles are sensational. Keep up the great work

This place is clean from top to bottom! Well laid out. Plenty of space indoors and out to sit down and relax with a feed and a drink.
The burgers are FANTASTIC, they do CRISP chips ((Really big thumbs up for that!👍) The staff were so busy when we were there on NY day 2024 but still helpful, friendly and efficient.
TOTALLY IMPRESSED. Try these guys out when your driving between GEELONG and Melbourne or whereever you are heading. The CHIPS! YUM!

Corio Bay Roadhouse is the best eating spot in Geelong. The food is so fresh and tasty. My partner and I ordered two chicken snitzel burgers, chicken tenders and coffee. The caramel slice is to die for! Tastes absolutely amazing. The staff are a lovely bunch of people and so friendly. We’d definitely dine in this cafe again…

What a sensational real burger exactly what I ordered...and coffee has come a long way!! Love the drive thru and staff are really friendly... everyone should support these guys instead of Maccas when heading into or out of Geelong!!

Visited today 23/5. I started surfing the West Coast in 1969, and CBR has always a regular 'must stop' for beach-goers heading home on Sunday and truckies who know good value food. Unfortunate that the Geelong Bypass has reduced passing traffic, but I will still make the detour and bring one back for 'wifey'. THE CBR BURGER (with the lot) IS SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING AROUND (including Melbourne) AND THEQUALITY IS RELIABLE. Real bun, great beef burger, egg, bacon, onion and all freshly made. Clean and comfy for dine-in and cheerful and prompt service even when busy.

Can't go past the Corio Bay Roadhouse. I know they've changed management a few times over the years but I'll always know it as that classic roadside diner with bloody great food and friendly staff.

Fresh food to eat when you're on the run. great coffee. why would you go to nearby food chains.
