Sodi Cafe

Had the chili scrambled eggs…they were kind enough to remove the avo (not a big fan of avo). The spice level was hot but delicious and the eggs were cooked properly and suitably fluffy…though could have done with a little extra seasoning. Overall a good choice. Also had the French toast…this was excellent! Good combination of tart elements such as raspberries and rhubarb with ice cream…with added crunch from the pistachios. French toast element cooked well and not too sweet. Two thumbs up for this dish. Coffee was very good and chai was delightful.

The mint pea puree with the eggs Benni is honestly something every cafe should do. So many beautiful flavours in the food. Excellent service. Recommend getting a hash brown with the Benni.

Dined at Sodi yesterday for my birthday for the first time and was incredibly impressed! We sat on the tables at the back and the staff were very attentive to us - food and coffee came out quickly.

The coffee was definitely one of the best I have had in Geelong and I will definitely be going back for this. I ordered poached eggs with relish on cauliflower bread. The cauliflower bread was so unique and absolutely delicious - a great gluten free option that isn't like cardboard bread as it has a lovely parmesan flavour.

The food here was amazing! Prompt service well spoken staff and full of friendly smiles. Cant wait to come back again. Also a new fav for good coffee. Food is awesome!!!

Very lovely food and some of the best coffee I’ve had in Geelong. Very accommodating, we brought our dog with us to breakfast and sat outside. They happily moved the table out of the sun, it was a killer! (It’s supposed to be summer, it did have a bite to it!)

Chili scrambled eggs is a definite winner! We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic cafe!
Since I arrived in Geelong I was told this was the best food you’d find in a cafe around Geelong West.
I can now confirm it.
Not only were the people serving us extremely friendly and fun, but the food that my friend and I had was so so delicious, and finger licking good !!
I’m so glad to have finally found THE spicy chai latte, after being on a quest around town!!
Make sure to stop by and to try their brekkie burger, the bun was soft as a cloud and extremely tasty!
I will come back, for all of those reasons

This has been my go to for a little bit now, if I can’t get in to our other fav. The service is always magnificent and food amazing! Keep up the brilliant work!

Sodi lives up to its reputation of serving great breakfasts with a slight twist. My potato hash egg Beni was delicious and rich. The addition of sour cream gave the dish a lovely consistency, although this decedent touch may be too rich to return to too soon. The drinks were nice, though lukewarm. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Sodi cafe is SO good.

The menu has some truly delicious selections on offer. The French toast with Panna Cotta is a particular highlight currently on the menu, and their smoothies are the real deal and delicious.

Did I mention it is a dog friendly cafe, co.pmete with dog treats and plenty of puppy viewing availability?

Sodi is so-definitely worth a visit.

What an amazing cafe, great coffee, great food, very kindstaff. Definitely a gem of Pakington street. Do yourself a favour and try it out. Would absolutely recommend this place to my family and friends. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food that isn't pretentious. Fitzroy vibe without the inflated hipster prices. We had the shakshuka and tofu, both were generous servings and yummy. Named after their head-chef's Chihuahua, this is a pet-friendly cafe with dog treats, puppacinos and more. Thank you so much!

Loved this place. The food was good, coffee was GREAT, staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for ages having a chat and they didn't seem to mind or try to move us on. There's a little outdoor area at the back where you can have your dog.

I had the chili scrambled eggs, the chili was not overpowering a very nice dish , partner had brekkie burger and enjoyed it staff were friendly, one minor thing the knives need changing we both had trouble cutting into our meals

This place is fantastic, both the Sodi Cafe and the Doni bar. We went for drinks last Saturday for $10 cocktails and had the whole outside area to ourselves; so my group could be a bit more energetic and lively. The food was fantastic and the cocktails were top notch. Our service from Earl was unparalleled and he was always around at the perfect time for more cocktails. 10/10 would go back for $10 cocktails again.

Amazing coffee & food & friendly staff in this great cafe with delicious vegan options. For those soy drinkers amongst us, Happy Happy Soy Boy is the milk on offer, which always bodes well.

I love going to sodi for a coffee and some eggs. The staff are lovely and always go out of their way to ensure they’re giving top quality service with a smile. They take the time to remember returning customers and always make my dogs feel welcome, safe and loved.
