Piermont Retreat

Stayed for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The whole experience left us speechless. Apart from Piermont being an amazing location with plenty to do around the property, the dinner and service was simply next level. I could not fault our stay one little bit. You really couldn't ask for a friendlier crew at Piermont to look after us whilst we stayed there. Thank you for making our anniversary so special. Complimentary sparkling when we arrived in our room. The beautiful lady at reception who seemed to have never left since we got there even gave my wife a free cold drink on arrival. It's these little things that will have us both speaking about Piermont for years to come. We will most definitely be back

Piermont Retreat is a stunning place to kick back, relax and decompress from the chaos of life. I’ve visited a few times and always felt very welcome and well looked after.

The Homestead Restaurant is beautiful with delicious food and a tranquil outlook. Would highly recommend!

We have just had our second experience of the wonderful menu for dinner at Piermont. Every dish is a work of art & a taste sensation. My favourite snack was the shaved cauliflower with hommus. The mains & sides were all fabulous & we managed to squeeze in dessert as we didn't want to missout on the tirramisu which was a favourite of the staff.
Service & ambiance is lovely with a view as well! Would highly recommend you make a booking & can't wait to come back on our next visit to Tasmania.

A perfect and much needed stay for my husband and I. We were so well taken care of, the dinner was mouth-watering and our stay was immaculate. We woke up at 5am to watch the sunrise and it did not disappoint. Our only regret is not staying longer but gives us more of reason to go back again. We are so looking forward to our next stay at Piermont, could not recommend any more if I tried

Location, accommodation, view, and dining experience were all extraordinary. Staff, very friendly and accommodating. If I ever make it back to the East Coast of Tasmania, I would stay here again.

We are enjoying great stay at Piermont Retreat as part of a road trip around Tasmania. Our room overlooks the sea and we enjoyed an early morning sunrise followed by breakfast on our balcony. On our first night we had a wonderful meal at Homestead Restaurant. The dishes were imaginative and beautifully presented accompanied by a great choice of local wines. Service was perfect.
Today we are looking forward to our hamper which we will enjoy on the beach this evening. Highly recommended.

What a location! You can’t beat waking up to those beautiful sea views. Our cottage was a little oasis with lots of thoughtful touches. Thank you for the breakfast provisions! We also enjoyed dinner in the Homestead Restaurant where the staff and food were both fantastic. Thank you for making our mini moon super special.

Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Loved the room. Breakfast ready in fridge of smoked salmon/toast/yogurt. Had an amazing dinner in the restaurant!! Great list of gin to try too.
Lovely location

We stayed at the Pampa Costa at Piermont Retreat and it was lovely. This place alone is good enough reason to make a trip to Swansea.

Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the spectacular view was awesome.

All round service from the moment we arrived for check in till the time we left was excellent.

We only had breakfast at the Piermont restaurant before we checked out and everything was done to perfection.

The view from the restaurant was amazing.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit Swansea.

Piermont was our last overnight stay of out Tassie trip for our 25th wedding anniversary. The beach side rooms were perfect. Slept with the door open all night just to here the waves. Beautiful views. Spacious room and bathroom. The tasting menu in the restaurant was fabulous and the food was amazing. As was the friendly staff. Great little showcase of Tassie delicacies. The breakfast bag in the room was a great option to relax and take our time while enjoying the last couple of hours of the view with the sun coming up over Freycenet hills. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely relaxing location. A hidden gem. Just the perfect place to chill just 1.5hr drive from either Hobart or Launceston.

The grounds and whole place is absolutely stunning. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. A few millipede issues depending on time of year and some of the accommodation dwellings are a little dated, if you can try to stay at the Residences that sleep more, you won't be disappointed. Lots to do and see and leave some time to explore the grounds. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant is also a must. Highly recommended.

Fabulous dinner with family. The food was absolutely divine and had a clear focus on seasonal Tasmanian produce with bold and interesting flavours. Staff were attentive, the setting was divine 10/10.

We had a lovely stay for our Christmas Celebration. Our accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The food in the Homestead restaurant last night was exceptional as were our breakfast's during our stay. We hope to be back again in 2023.

We loved Piermont, we had the best time! Arrived earlier than check in time and the room was ready. We enjoyed a picnic next to the amphitheater, thanks to the staff for facilitating us ice bucket for our bubbles! We loved the spa bath, the view and the restaurant was great! We only stayed for a night but we will come back, hopefully in summer to enjoy the pool and the rest of the facilities.

Absolutely fabulous!! We had a cosy and beautiful studio that has the most amazing view of the sea, waking up every morning to a spectacular golden sunrise. Comfy bed and armchairs to just sit and enjoy the sounds of the rolling waves. A soak in the spa with some local bubbles, after our 12km hike around Wineglass and Hazard bay circuit, was a welcome recharge. Gorgeous surroundings with professional, friendly and helpful staff. We highly recommend a stay here for a weekend away from the mainland, close to great wineries and fresh high quality seafood easily accessible too, it’s a win win situation!!!

We loved our time here. They were happy for us to leave the rental car while we went on a winery tour before we checked in which helped alleviate some stress.
The room was a gorgeous little cottage right by the beach.
We had dinner at the restaurant, which you need to book well in advance because the chef's prepare a set menu on the day. I'm vegan and the menu they prepared was fantastic! I've never been so excited by a plate of onions before, but they absolutely nailed it! Each course was delicate, delicious and presented beautifully.
I highly recommend Piermont and can't wait to return!
