We come here as often as we can. Excellent food every time. Beautiful Tash is amazing. She goes above and beyond to look after us. Always a pleasure seeing her.

Great little place for a relaxing drink, staff were great especially Sam- made the experience very enjoyable and fun! Will be back to enjoy this place next time I'm up in Queensland! Plus I will be telling everyone to visit!

Went the blue bar for tea and had the Vietnamese salad with beef, very nice. Met the new Venue Manager Jessa, such a warm friend helpful person, what an asset to this hotel 10 out of 10

Had lunch with some friends , ordered the rib fillet as did my friend , calamari , garlic bread and humpty doo barramundi.
Food was excellent, nicely plated , service was first class , nice happy faces which is always pleasant .
Later had drinks and a bet in the sports bar , which was great plenty of tvs for the races nrl afl .
The quality hot food snacks that the venue manager Jessa put on was a pleasant surprise to all .
Thoroughly enjoyable day .

Karaoke on a Wednesday is fun and awesome atmosphere.
I love the fact that staff have praised the new manager after only being there for a few weeks.

Food was prepared quickly and delivered with a smile. Forgot to mention was staying at the Oaks for the discount, but will tonight. Looking forward to trying the seafood platter as the steak sandwich and Avo Pammy were amazing. Highly recommend

Had the Oysters Kilpatrick.
They were so plump & a good size.
Would thoroughly recommend them.
Always have a great meal here.

Absolutely beautiful dinner! My parents and I dined here on a Wednesday night during holidays. Meals were extremely quick and all three meals recieved positive feed back. I had the barramundi and it was a solid 10 and I'm pretty hard to please. Huge compliments to all staff especially the girl behind the bar who was extremely patient with me and the chef who created our meals!

Ate here twice during our stay. Everyone had steak and they were cooked perfectly. We didn’t have a bookings but the girls shuffled a few tables to get us in as all the outside tables were underwater due to the storms

We ate here on New Years day as not many other places were open and we had a nice experience! For entree we shared the trio of dips which was delicious, and for drinks we shared a Pimms jug which was also nice. For mains I had a pumpkin pizza and my husband had the lobster gnocci, which were both nice. Great little spot for lunch/afternoon tea or drinks. 🙂

Always can rely on The Alex Headland Hotel to serve up a treat on a Sunday morning. The staff are always helpful and the venue is always kept neat and tidy. The coffee is perfection, alfresco dining options with wind guards. Prices here are always fair. Will be back!

Spent a week up here playing AFL Football and this place quickly became the favourite venue. Relaxed atmosphere and food was good but it was the friendly service of Amy that kept us coming back. What a star! A fantastic personality and she looked after us. Highly recommend and keep an eye out for Amy.

Food was delicious, kids were welcome.. we had a great time!

I would give this place more stars if we could, seriously, whatever you pay the chef, it isn't enough. The food was amazing, the salad was incredible. And the price was reasonable even on a public holiday. We are coming back here again for sure. Thank you so much guys!

Amy was amazing! Putting up with a group of annoying Victorian’s for a week. With a huge smile and no request was too much. Great service good food and fun atmosphere. A must go to when visiting the area

What great service! Our meals came out separately and we had to wait a little while for one meal we were given complimentary drinks, while we waited. When the food did arrive it was delicious. We will definitely return!
