Dr Prathmesh is amazing. He is thorough, considerate and kind. I've been a patient myself, and had two kids visit him with ailments, and each time he listens to the concerns and provides comprehensive information and causes and remedies. I couldn't recommend him enough. Other doctors are the practice--Dr Salam and Dr Dhara--are also amazing, great at diagnostics and considerate of patient needs. Very impressed.

My entire family visits Kon Tiki Medical Centre for our healthcare needs, and our experiences have consistently been outstanding. The doctors here, including the Contractor doctors, are exceptionally caring and humble. Their expertise and genuine concern for each patient shine through in every interaction, making us feel truly listened to and well-advised on our health concerns.

The reception staff also deserves a special mention for their warmth and friendliness. They greet us with a smile at every visit, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the medical centre.

We followed Dhara from her last practice in Cooroy because she is the most incredible GP we've ever had. The care that we've received at the Kon Tiki Medical Centre has been exceptional, from both Dhara and Prathmesh. They are really good at explaining things and thorough in investigation. The whole team are friendly and incredibly caring.

Dr Dhara is amazing. I will keep her as my doctor as long as possible - she is kind, compassionate and has always gone above and beyond in my medical care for me. She has never dismissed me or my symptoms - I can not thank her enough. The receptionists have always been kind and welcoming to me - going as far as to remember little details about me even that it was my wedding a few weeks ago. This medical centre is my go to and I can’t fault them at all. I have been going to them for a few years now - highly recommend.

The reviews regarding the reception staff should not stop you from visiting this clinic. I had a skin cancer check and as a result, needed to visit three times. On all occasions, the staff were friendly and kind. I suspect there has been a recent change as one of the staff was being trained. The doctor I saw was excellent and professional. Highly recommended.

I had my first appointment at this GP Clinic yesterday. I was treated so kindly at reception and had a great experience with Dr Salam. I am so happy that I have finally found a GP that will listen.

I went in last week to see the doctor salam. This heffer behind the counter who looks like Nicky Nicholls was giving me a dirty look when I tried checking in and rolled her eyes at me. I didn’t want to give a negative review as this is only one staff member and upon seeing what was happening another member of staff (I asked after her name was Lisa) came over and went above and beyond to make sure I was seen to and comfortable. She apologised and even asked if I was thirsty and brought me over a cup of water while I waited. She made me feel cared for when I was feeling bad so I just wanted to give her a shout out. Doctor salam was also very meticulous and great

Such great comprehensive and thoughtful GP services are here. Easy to get an appointment and the care I receive is the best I have ever received.

Visited the clinic for a routine health check and pre employment vaccination. I was seen by Dr Prathmesh who was extremely kind and very professional. My whole experience right from the receptionist to the attending nurse was wonderful. Definitely recommend the practice . Thank you .

After our regular GP moved on from another practice we decided to try Kon-Tiki Medical Centre as it was close by and recommended by family. The receptionist was so lovely and even played pee-a-boo with my baby as I filled out forms. Dr Maria Avelino was so kind, thorough and professional (hard to find!) and the nurse, Jan, had my little boy laughing after his needle! We felt very cared for and so glad we found this practice.

I couldn't get into my usual GP and I rang the staff at Kontiki. They were so helpful, understanding and accommodated me very quickly. I saw a great female doctor and the price was reasonable too. Thank you, thank, thank you for helping me when I was stuck.

The staff at kontiki are very welcoming and friendly. They the take the time to get to know you and take genuine interest. The practice is clean and modern. With large TV mounted on the walls to pass the time. Dr Kenny is a great doctor always listens well, examines throughly and provides effective treatment and advice. We are happy to have found a sound family medical practice since leaving Cairns. We highly recommend kontiki to anyone.
