Brookside Shopping Centre

Brookside is like an old friend. Been going there since I was a kid in the 70's. It has what you need, so it's big enough, but not too big, unlike other shopping centres that go on for miles! Free parking too!

very convenient, they got mostly everything you need from banks, grocery stores, clothes and apparel, restaurant's, barber shop, liquor shop, cigarettes, key shop, shoe shop. almost everything, and they're parking lot is huge, you'll have wide space of parking at the fron, and under the building so you won't worry bringing your car and having troubles with finding parking slots.

This is my go-to shopping center for groceries, clothing, and other essentials, with a great mix of major retailers and smaller specialty stores. There are also plenty of food options, from cafes to a food court, making it easy to grab a bite to eat while you're shopping.

The center is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Ample parking makes it easy to get to and from.

A very good selection of major & minor stores, I guess Big W &Target are the main ones there, I think those 2 are a good combo & am glad Target is back. There are two many other shops to mention but they are well set out & also many centre walk way pop up shops for that different gift. Parking is on 2 levels & you can usually find a park even in busy times, that's about it.

I was there with my mum (87) and my son who has a disability during the power outage on Thursday. The staff were amazing - in Big W coming to inform us what was happening and then as we were leaving assisting us down the escalator ( mum has a walker). Staff were also at the exit directing traffic and providing guidance. Hats off to you . Such great service. Thank you 🙏

Brookside Shopping Centre, located on Osborne Road, Mitchelton, opened its doors in 1971 & has since had several major makeovers.

Some businesses, such as Woolworths & Aldo's Barbershop, have been there for the entire time that Brookside Shopping Centre first opened for trade.

This shopping precinct has been a lifeline to so many people during that time.

At one stage, the largest retailer, Myer, was a good meeting point for everyone, but due to changing times, such as online shopping, it was forced to close its doors. In recent times, a large area where Myers has now been re-established as Target.

Target was originally located where Big W is now located.
Brookside Shopping Centre has many types of varieties of shops on site, something for everyone's needs.

There is more than enough parking available, both underground & open areas of parking. Plenty of Disability parking is available in the undercover and outside areas.

This shopping precinct is wheelchair friendly, escalators are available at both ends of the shopping centre, &the lifts are located near the Target store.

Covid-19 pandemic restrictions have now been lifted, and the wearing of masks is now up to individual choice, there are there are still plenty of sanitizing stations around all shopping areas.

Brisbane City Council buses drop you off at the Undercover Bus Station just of Osbourne Road.

The Mitchelton Railway Station is just a 5 minute walk from the Brookside Shopping precinct.

A fantastic community based shopping precinct to spend some quality time supporting local businesses & in general just enjoying a good time together.

An excellent Shopping Centre in Mitchelton! Not far from the local train Station & there is a bus terminal outside the front entrance! There is heaps of parking at the front & underground! There is a Big W store a Dollars & Sense! A Bendigo Bank, a Heritage, A Suncorp, A Westpac, A NAB & a ANZ bank! There is a Priceline store! Coles & Woolworths! Many Barbers & Hair & Beauty Salons! At least 3 nail salons! Two butcher's! 3 Optometrists! All the big brand clothing stores! A shoe repair shop called Key to Sole! BWS & Liquor land! Australia Post! Target! Williams shoes & Mathers! Wallace Bishop & Prouds Jewellers! Healers Massage! Price attack! Newsagent! Terry White Pharmacy is attached to the Brookside Family clinic! Sanity music! Robins Kitchen! GB Games! City Beach, Sportsgirl, Bras & things! Noni B, Cotton on, Connors, Susan's, Suzzane Grae, Lovisa jewellery store! A health food shop! 2 Flight Centres! A smoke shop supplies all your vapour products! A coffe Club , A Donut King. Gloria Jeans. Boost juice! Sushi Hub. Ispa Kebabs! Optus & Telstra shops! Plus a Vodaphone stand but not a store! A gym is At the front entrance! A baby clothes store is right next to Big W! Also a Foot Dr shoe specialist! 2 mobile phone repair stands one near the entrance & the other near Woolworths! Wheelchair access to the store is available & wheelchair parking is provided in the Brookside Shopping Centre car park! A one stop centre for everything you need even a Jp service that's manned most days!

Well appointed with modern stores and facilities. A very tidy and clean property. Excellent car parking zone.

My favorite shopping spot. Not too busy and can always get a car park. Good selection of shops and some nice cafes inside.

Great Mall with all you need. Several access points around the mall and free parking.

Brookside is an awesome, medium-sized SC, where you can always get a park. Lots of food outlets, coffee, etc. It is one of our
SC's.

My choice of mall, plenty to see and do and great range of options shops!

Great experience, great parking facility and number of shops to buy anything.

A smaller but good alternative to the busier Chermside if you need to shop in the area, but don’t want to deal with too many shops.

I have never been here before as I am house sitting in the area, was quite surprised with a great range of shops

Such a great place to shop. Coles has amazing stuff that I can't find at other Coles.

Great shipping centre. Plenty of parking and a new hotel across the road. Everything you need
