SmartClinics Pullenvale Family Medical Centre

This is my regular clinic that I go too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The Dr's I've seen at the clinic are great and explain things clearly. They always make me feel at ease when I'm feeling a little anxious. The staff are especially helpful when you may need to see a Dr straight away prior to your appointment.

I feel very fortunate to live near such a great local practice. The whole team is great, really supportive and helpful. We see Dr Debraj and Dr Afshan most regularly and they are fantastic. They provide such great quality of care, and are genuinely caring and empathetic.

Julia the nurse is also incredible. My daughter recently had an immunisation, and was quite upset in the lead up. Julia was so calm, patient and kind with her. Afterwards my daughter commented it didn’t even hurt and she could have a second needle now!

From booking on Hot Docs to the welcoming faces and seeing Dr Ankush, I felt well looked after and relaxed, without the normal anxiety I have going to the Drs. Dr Ankush is clearly well experienced, capable and professional GP and kind aswell. Thankyou.

I have been most fortunate to have Dr Nancy Momoff as my GP for several years now. She is very easy to talk to, and listens well to all my (increasing) health issues - am 75 yo! In fact, with Dr Nancy's highly professional, yet friendly manner, I'm most comfortable being very open about all my issues (which some males are shy about). As well as her great care as my JP, I particularly value Dr Nancy's expertise and experience in the thorough regular skin checks I have. Thank you so much, Dr Nancy. Brad W (a grateful patient).

Dr. Afshan Bhagat is a wonderful doctor who truly stands out for her genuine care she provides her patients. She goes the extra mile to listen attentively, sharing her extensive knowledge and ensures no detail is overlooked! (A few years ago, even making a critical diagnosis in an urgent manner, saving my sons life) If you're looking for a compassionate family doctor who cares, then I highly recommend her.

Dr. Debraj Mukherjee is very thorough in his exams and always takes a holistic approach when assessing my health. He does not jump to conclusions but carefully considers my symptoms along with my medical history. I appreciate that he takes the time to get to the root cause of any issues.

Dr Bhagat was really thorough, and I felt she really knew what she was talking about.

Dr Debraj is a great GP. I have been a patient for some time and he's now also our baby son's GP. He is knowledgeable and kind. The nurses and receptionist staff are also great.

Dr Debrage is a great Doctor who treated me with calm assurance in the surgery when I had a medical emergency a week ago then calling a ambulance to transport me to hospital for further observation.

Dr Debraj is the loveliest Dr I have ever had. So caring and really listens. Plus knowledgeable which is the most important thing. Thanks for being you Dr Debraj.

I love this practice. The receptionists are so friendly, accommodating and understanding.
My GP, Dr Lloyd Reeves-Johnson, is very thorough, knowledgeable and easy to talk to with a depth of empathy not often found these days.
Dr Nancy is also lovely and I’ve seen her too when Dr. Lloyd has been unavailable. Dr Nancy has also been wonderful with my teenaged daughter. And, I’ve only ever heard positive things about the other doctors that work at the practice.
The surgery is modern and clean, offers all kinds of services and gives convenient SMS reminders when things are due.
I’ve never been kept waiting longer than 5 minutes, though, as with all doctors, I’m sure this can be longer from time to time and I’ve just been fortunate thus far.
Very welcoming, personable staff that treat you with comforting warmth, familiarity and professionalism on each visit.
Not all are bulk billed here but the few dollars gap you pay for a more relaxed, thorough and lengthier appointment is well worth it.

Everyone at this clinic that I have dealt with has been really fantastic, but especially Dr Afshan Bhagat. I followed her from another practice to Pullenvale and honestly I'm so thankful I did! She has diagnosed and helped me with so many of my conditions; she is knowledgeable and empathetic to my complex chronic health needs; and she is a kind and smart person who really knows what she is talking about.

Dr Afshan has never demanded I undertake certain treatments either - she has just told me the scientific medical evidence as well as giving me a recommendation, but at the end of the day she has always let me decide for myself. I so appreciate her allowing me autonomy over my own health in a way that doctors in the past at other medical practices have denied me.

She has been an enormous advocate who consistently treats me with empathy and care during a period that has been some of the hardest in my life. I am incredibly grateful for her. An absolute gem of a human being, if I could give a million star rating it wouldn't be enough.

Very kind, caring and definitely accommodation after I have been a bit of a pain in the behind. I really appreciate the care that goes above & beyond!

I was pleasantly surprised visiting Smart Clinics. The receptionists were friendly. Chairs were spaced for Covid safety. I was impressed by Dr Afshan's thoroughness and professionalism. She explained my problem and treatment clearly. The others doctors I saw in the clinic were smiling and happy and it looked like a nice place to work. This then creates a nice atmosphere or ambience for patients.

My family and I have made this practice our sole choice for GP care. The practice, service and facilities are excellent and we feel connected and valued. Dr Megan Rowe is awesome however if she's fully booked any of the other GP's are also great too.
