This is a great bike shop. Fantastic technical service as well as customer service.
Jimmy's experience as a cyclist and bike mechanic really helped me understand what to look for in a bike and understand why the Scott brand is at the forefront. We have bought 2 Scott bikes from Jimmy over the last 2 years and I have only had the best experience to report. I can definitely recommend Bikeology (Jimmy).

Jimmy recently really went the extra mile to source difficult to get parts for my 3T frame. He is a top class mechanic and you can tell how passionate he is about delivering the best service to clients. Only Jimmy services my bikes, he is by far the best in Brisbane. I can't recommend him enough. And my next bike will be a Scott!!!!

Jimmy and Bikeology has to be the most passionate bike store I've ever been into. Its not about the sale its about the experience and the pleasure of getting kids on bikes. I purchased a Scott 24 inch plus rigid frame for my son who's now 7 on Jimmy's recommendation and he's ripping up the trails on it. If there is one word to describe Jimmy it is "passion" - he is a perfectionist bike mechanic - and he is passionate about his Scott bikes! In discussions with him (he loves to talk!) he convinced me to purchase a Scott Genius over the Spark. The perfect choice - the bike is amazing - where I ride its super steep with heaps of climbing - mostly fire trails so the climb is directly up the slope - no single track switch backs - the genius eats them for lunch with the confidence to power down the super steep descents. Magic - thanks Jimmy.

I've been to many different shops having moved around a lot, and always checked reviews before taking my stuff there, and by far Jimmy's workmanship, service and prices have been the best.

Incredible range of skills and will cost you the same (if not less due to long lasting and properly performed work) as going to a generic large store.

I would take my bike here even if it was an hour drive from my place. It's well worth it in the long run.

Jimmy is a legend. I feel people generally use the word “passionate” way way too often, freely and inappropriately when describing someone’s interest in a profession or endeavour. Jimmy is the exception, this guy lives and breaths bikes. Whenever I take my bike to him, not only does he do a great job, we also have long conversations about all things bikes. Best bike expert I’ve come across in ages. Unlike most other bike shops, he’s not just trying to flog product to you. He gives good honest and considered advice. 👍

Probably the best customer service I have ever received. Jimmy spent literally 2 1/2 hours chatting with me about bikes and cycling with no assumption that I was going to make a purchase. His passion, authenticity and knowledge were clearly evident and his price was exceptionally fair to boot. He also showed great care in ensuring my riding experience would be as pleasurable as possible, checking bike fit, suspension tuning and even ensuring bike fasteners were torqued to spec before I left the shop! Shop local and go have a chat to Jimmy if you’re considering a new bike or just need a service, it’s worth every penny you spend. This guy isn’t a salesman but a true lover of cycling. 11/10 :)

Jim of Bikeology is the best in the business I have ever met. I have had a wheel and hub issue for a while that no one has been able to rectify. Jim did it and at a very reasonable price. He is very knowledgeable and capable. I wished I had found him years ago. Thanks very much Jim.

I have all my bikes serviced with Jimmy and Luke, great service as always. Was finally on the market for a proper road bike... After looking around for while, I was set on another brand, but I ran the idea to Jimmy before committing (just in case)... I'm glad I did, if you look around his shop you'll understand why. So I got my first road bike, Scott Addict RC 15, couldn't be happier. Thanks gents.

Jimmy, helped my son and I out in getting his bike ready for the Super Sprint Triathlon weekend. He was very knowledgeable, down to earth and explained the reasoning for all the items that required fixing/replacement. In addition Jimmy took all this on at short notice and stayed back at the shop one night to ensure that the bike was humming for the competition. It was a secondhand bike and certainly had not felt that good to ride, during the time that we had owned it.

Thanks Jimmy for sorting my bike so promptly. You can tell Jimmy takes great pride in what he does and his attention to detail is reassuring. I would recommend him to anyone.

Unfortunately, my Scott bike was stolen from the bike shed of our apartment. However, Jimmy and Luke from Bikeology helped me out a lot to deal with the insurance report. Within a week of letting them know what happened, I was already riding a brand new Scott bike. Thanks for your amazing help, the fast, friendly and reliable service - and the good vibe! Cheers!

Excellent bike shop with super friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. The guys seem to know what they are talking and doing! Definitely recommended!

I had an accident on August as a result of a mechanical failure (old chain). Broken ribs and clavicle took me a week to hospital. Don’t wait until it is too late. Bring your bike for a check-up/service to Jimmy at Bikeology. You may not understand half of what he says due to his thick Scottish accent, but I assured you that you don’t need to. He’ll take care of your bike like if it was his and won’t leave a minor detail unattended. He is passionate about his job!

Just moved to the area and needed to get my Mtb wheel fixed asap for a weekend ride. Jimmy looked after me, did a great job and couldn't be nicer! Looks like I've struck gold on the first shovel going to Bikeoligy!

I have been closely associated with Bikeology now for five years. Being one of the top Ironman Triathletes in my age group means two things. My bikes get worked extremely hard and two I don't want then off the road ever. Jimmy has taken meticulous care of my bikes over this time. His work is simply outstanding. No task is ever to hard and always done on time. I consider Jimmy to be part of my success. I never ever have to worry about my bike race day, I just know it will work!!
