Fair prices, comfortable campervan and excellent service!!

We've traveled from Brisbane to Cairns in 20 days with Travelwheels. It was an experience of a lifetime! We got some excellent advise for our journey at the pickup location from the guys from Travelwheels in Brisbane. The campervan (we got the hitop) itself is well equipped and has comfortable (and long) beds and prices are fair. It's a comfortable van for long distance travelling although cruise control would have been nice to have. The drop off in Cairns was quick.
By accident we left some valuable items in the campervan which we only realised after drop off. We needed these items back as soons as possible, so we called them late in the evening. They assured us everything would be fine. We got our belongings delivered at our hotel the next morning within 1 hour after contacting them again (on a national holiday!). We couldn't have asked for better service! Thanks Travelwheels!

We googled Travel wheels, picked up our van from Cairns and explored Byron bay and Blue mountains in Sydney camped right down near the beach and watched the sunset.. amazing! easy bed to set up , comfortable. The staff are very friendly and quick service.

Thanks travel wheels. It was a great time. The cooking was a good thing to do and easy 😊 The fridge was everytime cold and big enough! We did in five weeks 3'848 kilometers. We travelled from Sydney to Cairns.

We had a Campervan for 12 days and it was awesome! The Van hat everything, two chairs, fridge, enough room for two, a good bbq and everything compact organised in the van.
The Support from The Team was really helpfull and friendly all the time.
The whole process was quicke, easy and organised from the start to the end.
I will rent a car again here everytime!

We wanted to rent a last minute campervan but because of a Holiday everything was fully booked. Only travelwheels found us a Toyota Tarago cheap and well-furnished! :)
She brought us from Melbourne to Cairns without any trouble!I recommend!

We traveled good two weeks on the East Coast with travelwheels. The pickup worked great and was very detailed and the first impression was very good. After a while, we unfortunately had to make sure that our fridge did not work (even some phone calls with travelwheels won't helped here) and a splash of water constantly came down on the passenger because of the air conditioning. In addition, after a few days, the passenger door was not open and we had to go to the workshop. For these circumstances, mainly for the fridge, we wanted compensation. From then on we only had to struggle with travelwheels and in the end we got $ 15,55 refund. Unfortunately, we can not recommend this car rental and find the service a bottomless impudence.

DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVEL WHEELS
Travel Wheels is by far the worst company I have dealt with. It all started with our pick up point. A dingy wreckers down a back alley of a dead end street. Our taxi driver didn't even feel ok leaving us behind. The guy who handed us the old mobile phone to complete our payment before we headed off was the nicest person we met that 'worked' for Travel Wheels. From our second day in the van it started making terrible noises and barely seemed drivable. As stated in the terms of our agreement we contacted Travel Wheels immediately and didn't continue to drive the vehicle. We were asked by the travel wheels representative if the van still went and when we said yes he told us to keep driving. When we reached our next destination, after not being able to use the air conditioner for the shocking noise it made, (awesome in north QLD) we called the company AGAIN. Nobody answered and we left a message for someone to call us back. No one did, until we called again the next day. We asked to return the Van and were told there was no depot. We offered to drive it back to the nearest depot we were told they would charge us a further $400 to do so and we would not receive another vehicle. We kept driving down the coast as directed. At our next stop with the noise increasing we called roadside assistance who advised us to continue driving at our own peril. One of the fans had come loose and there was a possibility it may blow, spraying sharp blades back in to the motor. We phone Travel Wheels and advised them, they said that we would have to call back the next day. We called the next day, text them with details of where the van was and offered to let them take it to be fixed for the entire day. They said they would call us back and never did. The next day we drove it back to Brisbane and off loaded it at a caravan depot for multiple companies. They were lovely and all of the other vans they had in their shop were being cleaned and checked over mechanically. When I asked if we showed them the problems with the van we were told that Travel Wheels no longer had their vehicles serviced, were always owing the depot money and they most peoples experience were exactly the same. DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL WHEELS. We never met one person that worked for them, the people of varying accents we spoke to on the phone were bullies and they definitely do not look after their fleet.
