Cafe Matteo

Nice quiet little cafe with plenty of parking at the front. Spacious inside and seating outside. Coffee was good and my veg and cheese roll was delicious. Have a menu to choose from if you wish something more substantial. Will call in again one day

Friendly & quick service, lots of hustle with the takeaway coffees booming!

Very accommodating, generous services you won’t work away hungry, loads of avocados on the burger slider.

Eggs Benny with bacon ( scrambled eggs & hollandaise on the side)

Breakfast Sliders, rocket on the side and swapping out the buns for a croissant 🥐

1st time here. Liked location, atmosphere. Service very slick, friendly & happy. Prompt. Importantly great coffee. We'll be back to try external seating under shade. Yes, top place

Found Cafe Matteo while traveling through Cairns and stopped there every day since. Opens at 6:00am is a big plus with great staff, food and coffee of course. My large decaf on Oat at $8.00 is a real good deal. A++ in my book.

Great coffee and tasty food!

Our group, which meets for a coffee morning every second Friday, were at Cafe Matteo this week. There were about 16 of us and everyone was very impressed with the coffee, food and excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended and we will be back here again!

I have treated myself to a nice breakfast at Cafe Matteo today…I have been there for meals (mainly breakfasts) many times before and have taken a lot of friends and family who were all equally impressed….but this was the first time for me under new management and I’m trying to find words! I had the big brekkie (and I’m very fussy when it comes to my crispy bacon😉) all I can say- the whole meal was just to die for 🤤 It was a pure taste explosion. The mushrooms and especially the tomato were seasoned just to perfection….let alone the well cooked Chorizo and perfectly cooked poached eggs 🤩 Kudos to the chef!!!

Good coffee, nice place to sit and get out of the office for a bit. Staff were great and this muffin is the size of my fist.
