Start of an amazing 🤩 time eating through Cairns. Let’s start with breakfast.

A lovely little cafe that seems off track not only in a lay of the land way but also not in the most seductive locale. However it manages to quite effortlessly entice even the most strict northern beaches’ or city resident searching for a captivating breakfast experience.
When arriving, we were approached by the most engaging of hostesses.
The menu choices are well thought out, cultured and worldly.
Unfortunately we have never been to Japan (to date) however we do get karaage chicken on a regular basis.
The karaage chicken eggs Benedict from Two Blocks was the finest and the foremost we’ve ever eaten.
It has great vegetarian / vegan options that are delectable and even I went vegetarian. (as a solid meat lover)

Overall do not be daunted by the location. It’s well worth going off the beaten track. Well done to Holloway’s Beach for being “unconnected” yet a bridge for those searching for a “Going nowhere slowly” vibe …

Besides all the pretentiousness haha 😛 of my post. It’s bloody grouse mate! Just go have a sticky beak even if you don’t know all the ingredients on the menu ! Sooooo good 😊

From far the best service in a cafe in Australia. The waiters are really friendly and caring from the beginning. Good food with little bit of originally for some meals that change from 99% of brunch places in Cairns.
Really yummy juice that you don’t find everywhere.

I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon and a side of mushrooms. Absolutely amazing. Washed down with a cold brew coffee from Code Black coffee roasters. Yummmm

We always visit here when we travel from the Sunny Coast. The staff here are always accomodating to sensory needs, they are friendly, happy and helpful.

Food has always been outstanding and the coffee and chai was delicious!

What a great little spot!
Lily, my server was fantastic! Very friendly, helpful and kind. Also some of thr best customer service and hospitality service I have seen in a while. In the short time I was there she served over 30-40+ people, and was efficient but still provided every individual with the time they deserved.

Barista was also lovely and made a very tasty iced latte. Yum!

Food was fresh and generous portions colourful, presented beautifully and what an inspired flavour combo!

Visited this gorgeous cafe in late July during my time in Cairns. The entire menu looked stunning and which I could have ordered one of everything. I had the Crumpet Benedict with Port terrine, the crumpet which was house-made had almost a pancake feel, very delicious and my friend had the Haloumi fritters both were amazing and super flavoursome, highly recommend if you're in the area and fancy upmarket cafe food with wholesome fresh ingredients. The desserts and cookies looked beautiful but I was too full from Brunch, though I regret not getting something sweet to take away.

Every element of each dish is so carefully and consciously constructed to create such amazing unique dishes like these, your tastebuds will go to another universe. It tastes even better than it looks!

Would recommend, lovey staff, always good coffee, and reliably superb food. Today for the first time I tried their staff and eggs, which with the addition of picked zucchini and delicious chimichurri elevate this dish well beyond traditional breakfast fare.

A perfect getaway from city centre life to enjoy perfect breakkie. Each dish is prepared with attentive details of special ingredients which made all the food are special. Located at two blocks from the Holloways Beach, its a perfect spot to have breakfast before spending time just under the tree by the Holloways Beach. My favourite Raspberry smoothies is unexpectedly beautiful with special ingredients inside. The interiors is minimalist modern and cozy brings out a happy mood in the morning. Staff are exceptional and great job for the chef who prepare the menus and food. I would highly recommend you to come to Two Blocks cafe while you enjoy your time in Cairns.

Was visiting Cairns on holiday recently and went out to Holloways Beach there to check it out. Well, we decided to have brunch first (Cafe I wanted to visit was right as you enter town, so that made the decision easy!) and then check out the beach… I looked up places to eat there and decided on Two Blocks Cafe. Had a wonderful conversation with a lovely lady getting out at Holloways on a local bus (easy ride from Cairns), who was actually on her way to Two Blocks Cafe herself (a local). So another recommendation! Well, the service was attentive and friendly and there was a great buzz in the place… it seems the place is very popular with the locals and the like. I was told by lovely bus lady that this cafe was her preferred in town. The owner (quite young guy obviously with great ideas and entrepreneurship) helped with cake recommendation as we arrived, and I ordered coffee too. Again the service was fantastic, making Holloways worth the visit just to eat at this Cafe, which when you look down the road, has a view of the beach there! The décor is very cool and urbane but still comfortable so as to make the whole experience there, just that - a whole experience. Their menu is wonderful - about all of which I’d try (next time, Holloways!) My brunch partner decided to go the full breakfast, ordering a dish with halloumi and beetroot relish which he really enjoyed. He had a juice he enjoyed also and actually was thoroughly impressed with his meal overall. Raving about it and the Cafe and young owner, well after we’d left already. The cakes and menu are inventive, interesting and just really tasty and the coffee was so good. Not sure, but think it may have been locally roasted? Look, the beach at Holloways is so pretty but I’m told swimming is an obstacle course with the Jellyfish in the season. However, the vista is amazing! We went out there to avoid the crowds at Palm Cove, but I would go out to Holloways again just for Two Blocks Café’s food, beverages, service and atmosphere, next time I’m in Cairns! It was a lovely visit to Holloways Beach all in all and Two Blocks Cafe was a delightful start to our visit there too.

Coffee was silky, smooth and perfect. I got the lamington ricotta hot cakes and they were so damn tasty. The waitress was friendly and helpful! Can’t wait for another day off to come back and try more food 😍

Ok wow, what a find! We are just on holidays and found this cafe to be open in the area, stunning spot, sleek, modern and a fresh take on the classic breakfast dishes. This Japanese interpretation of Aussie classic not only looks amazing, but tastes phenomenal. Service is professional yet casual and super friendly. Coffee stupendous and the music/vibe is spot on, Motown upbeat and fun! Bathroom is spotless and lots of lush green plants throughout the venue. Superb!

Absolute gem. Who ever is in the kitchen, chefs kiss to you! I had the brocolli salad today and it was so delicious. Staff were so friendly, great atmosphere, nice coffee and a well rounded modern menu. Thank you!!

Food is consistently delicious! And the coffee is always great! I like that the menu does change so you can always try something new! We had the green eggs and the fish burger. Yum!!
