These guys are magicians.
I'd been sitting on three late tax returns for years (2007-10). I was quite stressed about the consequences and couldn't access old pay slips (and my fmr employers no longer had them).
I finally decided to act and contacted Cha. Within a few minutes she asked for basic info then gave me a quick call. The next day all returns were lodged. I was stunned.
All I was hoping for was for the overdue tax notification to go away. What actually happened was 14k just landed in my account and it is all closed out. I keep looking at Mygov just admiring the "no outstanding tax items" status. She is really affodable as well.

My story..........personal circumstances unfortunately had me in a situation where I had a lot of outstanding tax returns and the ATO had contacted me seeking urgent submission, with a due date, of my returns, or I would very likely incur penalty notices. As you can imagine, my stress levels were pretty much at an all-time high, what to do, where to start, gathering and sorting my paperwork plus meeting the ATO's deadline. I also have an investment property and I wasn't sure about what deductions I could claim or what I couldn't claim - expenses, capital, depreciation and the rest!

I had looked at a lot of accountant/tax advertisements but I saw an ad for CHA Accountants which appealed to me, so I bit the bullet, rang immediately and Cha answered. Cha was amazing from that very first phone call. She really listened to me. She heard and understood my situation without any judgement on my part whatsoever, which was fantastic and it made me feel instantly better. She discussed how we would get this done, what documentation would be needed, what did I have and what documentation didn't I have? Cha offered options and solutions to all of it. All the while Cha kept reassuring me everything would be okay, and not to stress, we can work this out, everything will be fine. It was far better than fine.

One week after ringing Cha, my years of paperwork sorted/dealt with, all my claimable deductions worked out and reviewed, and my outstanding tax returns were submitted by Cha as per the ATO's due date. A few days later I had my tax refund, far more than I had thought I would ever get and I was incredibly happy that Cha sorted it out and I didn't incur any penalties.

Several months ago I contacted Cha Accountants regarding overdue returns for my SMSF. I was quite worried about any ramifications from the ATO for being late. I arranged an interview with Cha and she made me feel quite at ease after the first visit as to how she could help me to get everything up to date and compliant once again. Thank you so much Cha and Helen. I was 15 returns in arrears and had lost some PAYG summaries but Helen put me at my ease on the first phone call advising that all issues could easily be dealt with.
