The Peacock Inn Chinese Restaurant

Set menu is amazing! Such a good choice of various mains with steamed rice. The highlight for us was the chicken and sweetcorn soup; I know, but a great soup can make the mark for a fab meal. Service was great, very attentive and smilie, and a super bonus of BYOB! Will definitely be back 😃

We came for dinner and we saw that the restaurant had a big renovation. The ambience was lovely. While we were there there were many calls for takeaway. We ate in. Our meals came out hot and very tasty. The waitress was very attentive and cordial. We ate the Cantonese steak, Beef with ginger, Chicken fillet with vegetables and steamed rice. We'll come again, that's for sure.

Visiting from Melbourne, thought we'd try the Peacock Inn for dinner. To say, the banquet for three, was very nice. From the spring rolls, dim sum, main meals, dried rice and ice cream. The only thing I would suggest is having toppings for the ice cream or adding banana and pineapple fritters to the menu.

Amazing little find, our host was outstanding and a great value for money meal out, really cheap for really tasty Chinese food.

We are from Brissy and have holidays at Haven Resort. We have been looking for asian food and we try here for take away.

Things to improve on food.

1.BB Pork Omelete is good but there is no gravy sauce like Glee Fu Chinese Restaurant at Milton Brisbane.

2. Chinese Mushroom with mix of vegies in oyster sauce has too many mushrooms and with little mix of vegetables and the taste is 3/5 for us. Brocolli and mushroom seems uncooked/very half coked. ):

3. honey soy chicken is good.

4. steam rice is too dry and the rice is of low quality.

Customer services are good.

so far of the few chinese restaurant we had experience, it is only Glee Fu Chinese Restaurant at Brisbane has been the yummiest Chinese food we ever had.

Would have to be the best pork I’ve had from a Chinese restaurant all of the food was beautiful. Can highly recommend this place on price, quality and customer service.

This is a great Chinese Restaurant in Broadbeach,tonight I enjoyed the $15 special (Mon-Thurs) I chose the Chicken & Sweet Corn Soup,2 Spring Rolls,Mongolian Beef and steamed Rice.The serve was larger than expected for the price and the Beef was very tender.Other options are Pork in Plum Sauce,Honey Chicken,Beef in Oyster Sauce and a few others,the service was amazing and prompt and the lady enjoyed a chat,definitely going back soon.

The most authentic Chinese restaurant on the coast. I highly recommend this restaurant for yourself or a family dinner. I've never tasted better.

Beautiful meal, we had honey sesame chicken ,combination sweet and sour and special fried rice…light batter on chicken and crispy vegetables and tasty prawns and meats in the sweet & sour.
