ONA Coffee House Cafe

Wow, the food here is absolutely amazing! This is the perfect brunch spot which offers a unique menu. I had the halloumi salad, and I felt like this dish was made for me! They also have an extensive selection of coffees for the coffee lover. You are able to order both at your table via a QR code and at the counter. I really recommend it to those who want to try out a new brunch spot!

The food there was amazing. The drinks we good as well but some of the drinks came very late after all the rest of the food we ordered came. It’s still good, also they have very friendly staff

Dishes that belongs in 5 star restaurants. The pork dish was amazing with lots of flavours, the beef burger was moist and the chips were the best I have ever had.

Visited there for lunch during the Easter long weekend, but it wasn't too busy and we got a table easily. We ordered our food using the QR code on the table and it was convenient. I loved their pancakes - they go perfect with a coffee!

Great Food and coffee here. Service is really good too with friendly staff. Had the waffle and fritters today, best waffle by far and the fritters were perfect.

We have had Ona coffee before in Melbourne but wanted to try again in Canberra. Coffee range here is top notch and really wide.

For latte, I recommend Maple blend but if you want to try something cool and unique, go for Rasberry Candy. It’s their award winning coffee.

Filter coffee is also good here. I’m a fan.

For food, I recommend Ona Roll with tomato chutney. It’s really balanced and good. Fritters are pretty yummy too.

Would visit again.

Absolutely brilliant cafe, serving up great coffee and food in an industrial area.
STAFF: Really attentive, kind and efficient.
FOOD: Absolutely brilliant. All of our meals were really well balanced, of high quality and arrived quickly. They even have great kids meals too. They accommodate vegans, vegetarians and gluten free folks. Admittedly they don't have many gf treats/gf food in the counter, however given the area, makes sense.
Their wide selection of coffee was a super nice surprise.
INTERIOR: Large, ample room for larger groups and those with prams etc. Was nice and warm inside on a freezing cold day.
OVERALL: Highly recommend and will be going back.

Friendly people, nice food and relaxing place to take a break. Fantastic coffee that have here, multiple choices and I have to bring some for my family and friends.

The most stunning number of exceptional coffee choices you'll find anywhere and the numerous page coffee menu explains it all so you can experience something special. Eggs benny and other food options are amazing too. My wife loved the Kenyan washed cold drip or cold press (whatever it was). Highly recommended. Always packed when I've been here. Onsite or street parking is usually easy enough close by also.

This was my first time visiting ONA, and it was wonderful. The style and atmosphere is excellent, the Cafe was clean and well presented. The staff were well dressed, friendly and helpful. Coffee and food was prepared far quicker than I had expected with our meals in front of us in less than 10 minutes. We had the "Maple" coffee, which is the new name of the old "Hitman" blend, and it was delicious. So nice in fact, I had 2.

I will definately visit again, next time I'm in Fyshwick.

Come for the coffee, stay for the food. Ona has consistently produced some of the best coffee in Canberra for a number of years now, and whenever we are in town we make sure to grab a cup. This time we were able to stay for breakfast and it was excellent. The portions were big, everything had a gluten free option, but the price was on the expensive side. Would definitely like to explore more of the menu next time we drop in.

Had to drop my car in for something down the road and decided to come here for some food while I waited. It was just after lunch but there were plenty of tables and the staff were really nice. Food was amazing and so were the drinks (although the iced chai had a bit too much cinnamon). Would definitely recommend as a place to wait and have a bite to eat.

Our favourite go to when visiting Canberra. I love the space. Great atmosphere, the food is top notch. Great flavours. Their coffee is second to none. Honestly, I was spoiled for choice. Incredible amount of awesome coffee with knowledgeable baristas.

The Ona roll was amazing, with plenty of bacon. The honey chai is made with real tea, not powdered, and it was delicious. Shout out to our server, Tim, who was a delight and super helpful.

Tasty food and nice environment. One female server was very helpful and friendly. We were so happy with her. Shr memorises all the order without taking a note. The other server could have had a bad day on that day. But overall it was a great experience :)

How good is this place ! Recommended by a friend who has great taste and it didn't disappoint ! We tried the Baked Beans, Fritters and hot chocolate and can't remember a better dining experience.

Great spot if you love Ona coffee! Staff were excellent, so fast and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Star of the show was the one roll egg bacon sharp cheddar and BBQ sauce, so delicious. It's becoming a regular brush spot for me.

ONA Coffee House is a good place to get your coffee and breakfast (or brunch) while you're at Fyshwick. Serving their very own ONA coffee, trust that it will be served well.

Good thing to mention is how good their French Toast is—the best French Toast we've had so far! The toast itself doesn't seem it was cooked the traditional way (i.e. toast soaked in egg and milk, etc.), but it seems like the process went from baking the raw materials and turning it into such a masterpiece. We love the a balance of the sweetness of the toast, the strawberry ice cream and Oreo crumbs around it, plus the seasonal fruits that came with it. Simply awesome!

We've also tried their Eggs Benedict which is also good (as we are big Eggs Benedict chasers for brunches).

One thing to note about the restaurant is that it gets really busy and that there's a chance that the food will be served around 40 minutes (noticeable as well that there is a queue outside the establishment). We appreciate the lady who came over to our table (assume it is the manager of the restaurant) when she apologise for what happened and made amendments to our order.

Overall, it's something good to try out if you're up for some brekky in Fyshwick.

Always a delight to be at ONA! Top quality coffee and food. The online ordering is efficient but does lack the ability to ask staff questions about the food and especially about what’s brewing!!
