Best wings ever! $18 for 10 pieces of buffalo wings with *just* the right amount of ranch. $12 for a good amount of house-made chips with chipotle mayo. Very attentive staff & clean amenities. Apple crumble is a must-try.

Sometimes you go somewhere and go in a pub and think "I wish this place was near me". This is one of those pubs! Awesome food, great beers and ciders on tap and some of the friendliest people behind a bar that you'll ever meet. It was the busiest place in town.

We celebrated with a wedding upstairs, Amy and Zack had the most amazing experience, Matt and his team went above and beyond to make their day special. It was perfect, thank you RHQ

Dinner was absolutely beautiful. A huge shout out to Ronan, our cocktails were amazing! He certainly knows his stuff. I am in Queanbeyan for a night every 3 months, and always come here for dinner. The staff, atmosphere and food are always on point.

Exceptional food and the staff were absolutely lovely. The service was quick and everyone enjoyed there meals. Apart from some rude customers harassing the staff, the environment was lovely. Will definitely be returning & would recommend :))

One of my regular places for a great meal. Large portions cooked well and prepared fairly quick. Probably my favourite place to eat.

Went in at about 630 on a Friday night and the place was packed. We managed to get lucky and find a table. Ordered some food, a steak, grilled salmon and lamb cutlets. Everything was fantastic and despite the crowds we had been served and finished eating within 45 minutes of sitting down. The staff are a well oiled machine. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

They claimed to have Australia's best steak on the menu at $57 so I had to try it..

They were right it was the best steak I'd ever had slightly over cooked but bloody beautiful.

55degrees is the scientifically proven temperature for a perfect medium cooked steak. The chefs couldn’t have nailed it any closer!

Food choices very good. Caters for vegetarians and GF. Meals were delicious. Fresh, quick and wholesome.
Service charming and then there's the chilled sav blanc.
It's a gem.

While l have been to Royal a few times, I had never been upstairs. The Radiators played on Sat night and it went off, awesome band and the sound was great. It is a small venue and if you were in the main room there is nothing to obscure your view.
It is set up as more for functions than bands, but l would not hesitate in the slightest seeing another band here.
Entry was easy with the use of QR codes. There is a lift if you're unable to do the stairs, with access inside near the bistro, with a bar and toilets upstairs.

Came to Royal Hotel whilst in town for work. A very modern hotel with plenty of room! Massive menu of great pub foods. Had the load parmi which was brilliant! Portion size was massive and really reasonably priced. Food was out very quickly! Big selection of drinks and staff were super friendly! Not a lot of parking but just down the street there is a big car park so it’s only a short walk. All in all would highly recommend!
