Cannot thank Shannon and his team enough for the work that they have done to my 79. The attention to detail in the workmanship and finish is top notch throughout the entire build. Shannon made the whole process stress free with his knowledge from his own Ute to bouncing ideas from the informative build updates with photos showing the different stages and help with any questions I had. Cant wait to get out and travel aus with a tray and canopy I know wont let me down no matter what situation I'm in. Thank you again to Shannon and his team enough

Its been almost a year since I took deliver of my Merlot Landcruiser. We got away on our trip from Melbourne to the Kimberly and I could not be happier with how the vehicle and Shannon's modifications performed. Shannon is such a great person to deal with and he really knows his stuff!

I have waiting along time to start working on my dream rig! I had quotes all done up from my regular tray and box manufacture and was close to going ahead when I came across "The Game Changer" from Shannons Engineering and it was love at first site. In my business we pride ourselves in using the best quality components and always lean towards Australian made both of which spoke to me through Shannon's work. He is an artist who loves what he does and he does it to the best quality possible. I am so proud to be an owner of one of his trays and soon canopies as well. He is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I honestly feel the work he delivered surpassed my expectations. It was a stretch to upfront the money for all the accessories but I don't think there is many others I would now trust to do work on my truck!! Once again thank you Shannon and team!

Shopping for an engineering works is like looking for a good cafe or restaurant - look for one that's busy !
Same goes for if you want something done well ,ask someone who is passionate and meticulous like Shannon.
When I met Shannon I liked that he was direct , no bs - and was "non selling" me the job if that makes sense .
Here are his key traits , direct - hard working , fastidious , honest and an elite tradesperson who is passionate about building big off-road vehicles to conquer this continent in .

If you are like me and inexperienced with this type of vehicle I would recommend the rear axle upgrade,
sound deadening, diff breathers and discuss with Shannon upgrade on air box filter, and a rear winch as well as a front winch .
When you hit sudden wet country it's often much easier to go out backwards if that makes sense .
Shannon is without peer as a person and expert in his field I can't recommend him more highly .

If you want the highest level of care with building your car Shannon's Engineering go above and beyond with every little detail and it shows in their workmanship. Really happy with the overall look of BIG RED, Shannon and the team did an outstanding job. Building a highly customised 79 series isn't an easy process but the communication between myself and Shannon has been great which helped out alot. Shannon’s work is impeccable and he is so pedantic with his work too which shows lots of panache!! I would most definitely recommend Shannon’s Engineering if your looking at doing a new tray or any modifications to your Landcruiser or Ute etc.... Like everything related to 79 series cruzas there was a fair wait to get my tray built by Shannons but well worth the wait in the end. Quality, styling, features and finnish is second to none. Couldnt be happier with the finnished product, thanks to Shannon and all his team.

Shannon and his team are next level. They are jammed packed and working there arses off because so many crew want their product.
Shannon is the most cruisy easy going guy to deal with and best of all he lives and breathes the product he is building for you.
I honestly could not be more happy with the new tray canopy, electrics, fridge, pie oven….etc The team built for me.
One problem… every campsite you go to, you get other campers coming over wanting to chat about what an epic rig you have (which isn’t a bad thing)

Shannon and his team have just recently completed a Tray for my 2020 LC79 inclusive of an under tray water storage system, an air system and colour coded 2pack paint and the result is nothing short of perfection.

A great guy to deal with right from the get go and a very talented team of tradesman. Their attention to detail is next level. His knowledge and passion of the LC79 is reflected in the vehicles he has been producing. Shannons’s Engineering are industry leaders when it comes to innovation and design and absolute perfectionist when it comes to detail.

The Landcruisers are a timeless machine and I believe there is no other business that is complimenting them like Shannon’s Engineering. To say these Trays and Canopies are high end is an absolute understatement.

With phase 1 now complete I look forward to dealing with the team at Shannon’s engineering for the rest of my build.

Great customer service and amazing work. Had 3 sets of custom made handrails designed for some treadmills we are using in a research study. Shannon understood exactly the concept of the design I was looking for and delivered an outstanding piece of work.

I highly recommend Shannons Engineering. I will defianlty be coming back at a later date to have more custom work done on my ute. The customer service is really hard to beat, Shannon himself offered to show us around Manly and drop us off where we wanted along the beach.
Understandably sometimes it takes a little bit to get a hold of the shop but, they are constantly innovating to improve their work. It was well worth the wait and certainly worth the 7 hour trip down here. The work they do is extremely high quality and im super stoked to finally have a tray that i love on my ute :)
