Great place to visit, excellent museum showing a lot of shearing history including a couple of very interesting videos. The shearing exhibition is a must see. The shearer was fantastic, down to earth and explained everything. Well stocked shop and good cafe area.

Came here with my wife and 3yo. Had an absolute ball. Jack was informative and up for a chat and shore a sheep even not on demo time table. The coffee was amazing and so was the home made cakes and bickies. We even had fun trying to find our way through the sheep yard maze. All in all great time with the family

This museum provides a good overview of the sheep industry over the years. Unfortunately, we missed the shearing demo.

A phenomenal place dedicated to sharing the untold stories of Australian shearers. The facility includes a range of items displaying the intriguing life of a shearer, cook and variety of other workers at a sheep shearing shed

Absolutely love it, was so interesting to see how hard a shearer has to work to earn a decent day's pay, ever the cook has it though. Also a must see is the shearer ine the old woodshed shear a sheep.

Great display with interactive features with stories told by the Shearer's and personalities. An impressive collection of memorabilia. The shearing demonstration was fun and informative. Our ticket was valid for 2 days so we came back the next morning for a delicious breakfast in their Cafe and finished looking through everything. My two small dogs were welcomed.

Stopped to have a cuppa and wanted to see the shearing demo but timing was wrong for that as only 10h30 or 1pm so had a hearty bowl of pea & ham soup with toast! Yummy 😋!

Well worth it. Well done to the guys on this.

The sharing demo was well worth it and would recommend for both kids and adults.

The move if the shearing sheed shows the dedication of the Hay Shear Outback.
