Highway Inn Motel Hay

Typical old fashioned Motel. Friendly service. Clean and comfortable room with a modern bathroom and lots of hot water. Is just off one of the main rooms but we only hears 1 truck early in the evening.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Host is great. We had a great time and we will come again.

I would definitely go there again. It's very clean, modern and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Great rooms....beautifully clean and well prepared. Staff are eager to help. Spacious bathroom/shower with all soaps and shampoo's supplied well worth a visit.

The Motel was exactly as described on their website. The rooms and toilet were immaculately clean. The bedding and linen were fresh. Even though the building is old, it is very well maintained and very comfortable to spend the night in. The staff are very friendly and prompt. Great place for families and kids.

Beautiful little motel.

Stayed here twice, one night each. Staff were incredibly kind both times. Really nice atmosphere, great rooms, very clean and comfy beds.

The bathroom had a spa bath and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, and shaving cream dispensers.

Kitchenette didn't have much, no stove, but that didn't matter, kettle, toaster, and microwave was all we needed.

Would definitely visit again :)

Really helpful and accomodating, as we were arriving late, left some lights on and heated the room ready for us - which was lovely after a long drive. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Great place to stay.

We spent a night here very recently on our way through to Adelaide from Sydney. The Manager was very friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable and extremely clean and well presented. The room was great value for money and we will have no hesitation in choosing the Highway Inn next time we travel through Hay, and we will also highly recommend to family and friends whenever they visit or travel through Hay.

We regularly travel interstate on holidays & make Hay our overnight stop. We have tried most Motels & Hotels in Hay & this place is by far the best. We had to reschedule a stay for one day earlier & the booking company didn’t inform this Motel. It was no problem for the lovely owner & even upgraded us to the family room, free of charge. The Highway Motel will now be our place of choice to stay.

Excellent clean, comfortable accomodation. Room had toaster, jug and plenty of cutlery and crockery. Hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful and I can honestly say this was by far the best of the half dozen motels I used over my 10 day trip between Adelaide and Brisbane and return.

Spacious, clean, appealing family rooms with good amenities, including plates and cutlery. Nice pool, pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good sized parking for larger vehicle with high clearance, or things strapped to roof, as not under cover. Well priced. Would stay again in a heart beat!

Excellent service and very clean rooms. Nothing was a problem to the host. My parents and I stayed here on Friday night and the TV in mum and dads room had a small problem. I went and saw the host and he came straight away and was able to fix it straight away. I will be back

We came over and stayed a few nights here and absolutely loved it! Di the new manager was so kind and lovely I couldn't recommend anyone better for the job!
Our family is coming back in a few months and our whole family is coming and we're all going to be staying because of the beautiful service we received!

Thank you for our 2 nights with you! Beds were comfy, rooms clean, food great, service excellent. Dianne and Gary bent over backwards to make our stay perfect.

Lovely, clean, quality bedding & bathroom.

We called for a room only 2 hours before arriving, towing a caravan. Gary and Di could not be more helpful or obliging. We arrived at 6pm and they were there to chat and offer different options for where we could park the van. The room was large and very clean. Couldn't have been happier. Certainly recommend this motel.

We just had our second stay at The Highway Inn and we love it, Leeanne and Alex are great hosts and it feels like coming home to visit family. Great spacious clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great breakfasts as well. We look forward to coming back!

From check in with Leanne who was friendly and cheerful to the WOW look at this room! So good to walk into a motel room that was so clean, modern and comfy. Bowls Club across the road for a meal What more do you want. Will definitely stay again

Did you read all the great reviews? They are all true AND they have great pillows!! Love staying at a place with well maintained spacious rooms a bathroom that appears to have been recently renovated, a nice firm bed and little surprises, like the pillows and Moccona coffee and cappuccino powder for the morning cups.
