Stopped here on our travels, we had the absolute best steak sandwich ever. Went back in to see if they had anything appropriate to feed the dog and the staff cooked up a huge box fresh nuggets and other things but refused to charge us! Best service, great food!

New management are taking steps to improve the service. Aims to give truckies and travellers a better service! Always ready to listen.

Best hamburger I've had in decades after being told at the coffee shop in town it would be a 45 minute wait.give the town a miss and eat here instead

Bought a tank of fuel for a car and they threw in a hot shower. So dam nice on a cold night. Good price for the middle of nowhere. 5 star.

This is a great Travelers Rest stop. I bought a hamburger that was very delicious and huge. The staff were polite. It also has a shower free to use which is also great.

Stopped at Shell Hay twice on way to and from Canberra. Our dinner was excellent. Home cooking style with Apple crumble for desert $22 what a bargain. Great air conditioning.

Lady was very nice; I left smiling, and motivated to continue my long drive.
Great snacks there too.

Had a Silverside meal with Broccoli pumpkin, peas ,with a cheese sauce at 10-30pm passing thru .
Friendly lady , reheated the meal from the fridge , it was bloody beautiful.

Great rest stop. Decent fuel price - cheaper than Canberra. Friendly staff, good food, good coffee. The rissoles and the pepper schnitzel worth every cent.

called in here on our way to Tenterfield, shop was clean and tidy, fuel reasonably priced, staff friendly and helpful. Toilets were freshly cleaned, called in again on our way back and had the same experience.

Very friendly and helpful. They were able to cater to my diet with a beautiful ham and salad meal. My partner loved his Chiko and Kransky. A rare treat.

So friendly! I needed help with a broken taillight and the lady here was so super helpful. Could not recommend this place enough... Also the feed in the restaurant was worth the stop :)

They had they fuel I needed, RON98, plus cold drinks, plus toilet facilities, plus minimal delays, despite being quite busy.

Meals were heaps bigger than we expected and pretty good! Staff were friendly.

Girl cooked best bacon and stesk sangers ever with minimal wait and. Smile.
