Royal Hotel Gympie

Super helpful and friendly staff. The food was amazing and good value. The rooms were well maintained and perfect for our 2 night stay with my family of 4. The rooms were well insulated/sound proof so we all had a good nights sleep. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated. Definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed 3 nights at the Royal Hotel Gympie with our family of four. Room was newly renovated, comfortable, clean and spacious. Had a well-sized ensuite. Kids loved the indoor playground. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend!!

The hotel manager was Amazing. Rob was able help us with a last minute Booking. Very welcoming and excellent customer service. Its a Great location, central to All local restaurants, shopping centre, bars and pubs. Room was neat and tidy. We would definitely stay again.

Nice renovated room, bit on the smaller size but rate is reasonable. Very quiet. You will need to be able to access via a staircase. Restaurant decor is very comfortable and is a complete contradiction to the old world type of hotel appearance on the outside. Service was excellent, food was great. They had warm coconut and 🍍 tea cake with whipped coconut pineapple and raspberry jelly. Now they are showing off. Photo is from tge restaurant

In all the travelling we do, I have never stayed anywhere where the owner and staff will go above and beyond for their customers. Paul and his staff have made the last week an absolute blast for us, even helping out when they didn’t need to. The meals are AMAZING and very well priced. I absolutely can’t wait to bring the rest of my family here for a holiday.

The service by that fine man Zen was exquisite. The food was delivered quickly and with great efficiently. I highly recommend the royal for meals and drinks. I will be back!!

Just undergone major refurbishment. The bedrooms are well appointed with all the usual accessories. Great bars and special place for kids. Efficient, hard working and friendly management. Whilst there try the new Wingman beer. Great taste!

What a great night! The biggest thank you to The Royal. I arrived to a surprise Birthday dinner last night. There was table of 20 with my family and friends waiting.
Being such a large group The Royal's new system worked perfectly, where they took order's at your table and you pay as you leave. What a fantastic idea!!
Everyone's meal came out at the same time and was delicious.
A big thank you again to Stacey, Linc, Mackenzie, Emerson and all the staff. You made my Birthday the best ever! ❤❤

The food is exceptionally good, portions are generous and staff friendly. In fact, my lunch special parmy with 150 lashes schooner for $17 was a lipsmacking
bargain.

We ate there for lunch excellent value great serving sizes and food quality.
Coming from Melbourne I’d rate this place as good than some of the nicer pubs in the CBD.
I’ll be back on n my travels.

Our overnight stay here was as expected and we were looking for anything overly fancy, just somewhere to clean up an sleep. A typical country type hotel above the bar that you would find basically anywhere in rural Australia. Had all the essentials we required. Close to several food outlets all within close walking distance. Check in was quick and easy. Check out was even easier. Slept well as we were all fairly tired from driving. Overall, quite satisfactory.

I rang for takeaway tonight. Awesome customer service both over the phone and when I arrived, followed by the best steak with mash and vegies I reckon I've ever had. Congratulations Royal Hotel! Customer for life!

Me and my friend were supposed to go to Rainbow Beach tonight, but due to the flooding we were stranded in Gympie tonight. At first we thought we’ve been cursed but as soon as we walked into “The Royal Hotel” we felt very optimistic again. After a quick chat to the nice guy behind the bar, Mackenzie sorted us out immediately. We’ve got a nice room for a nice price and we are enjoying a nice meal in the pub below. Cheers for being awesome Mackenzie!

We stayed two nights at the Royal Hotel in Gympie this week. Paul, the new owner, greeted us on our arrival with a warm welcome and a complimentary wine and beer. Our room, with ensuite facilities was spotlessly clean and very nicely refurbished. It is located in the centre of town close to restaurants and cafes. We wish him well with his new business venture and believe The Royal will be the place to go for a great night out in Gympie.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was amazing. Family and pet friendly. I would recommend you stop by this establishment for a drink or a meal. Play equipment is great entertainment for kids while you have a meal.

Went in for breakfast and it was amazing. Best feed I've had in a long time. And staff were so friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend!
