Drakes Gympie

I went into Drakes at 10am Christmas Eve and to be honest, was dreading the normal supermarket madness! Staff were friendly, store was clean and well stocked, and I left with way more than I anticipated in my trolley, but very, very happy! Thank you & Merry Christmas

Love the selection of fresh produce and ANYTHING is better than the big 2 ripping off our farmers and treating people with contempt.

Well priced store & very friendly staff willing to help . Has a diverse selection of products & they bake in store & have butcher and deli with a large range of sliced products.& seafood & hot chickens & roast porks & large fruit and vegetable section & under cover parking under the shops . Sadly only 2 handicap parking spaces on same level as the shop & 3 on lower level via long ramps

Wow. First visit to this store. Beautifully laid out, spacious isles and a huge variety of products. We will be travelling from Cooloola Cove more often to shop here. Coles and Woolies could get some tips from visiting this store.

Easy shop to get into with disabilities. Great variety of stock. Best of all top staff very friendly and helpful, great asset to our community. Checking out quick with real human contact, no stupid self service machines to play up keeping you there longer.

Love this store, I always prefer independent grocers over coles and woollies for my deli and meat, last time I went here they had two cooked chooks in a bag for $12, instead of 1 not much bigger one for $10 at Coles. Usually easier to park too.

Friendly staff. Quite a large variety of groceries. They have a particularly good selection of raw and specialty nuts. There bakery goods are fairly nice. The deli also has some interesting locally made kabana type meats. The above ground parking lot is fairly small and tight but the underground one usually has plenty of room.

I love my local Drakes. Very helpful staff and excellent variety of products specially for my Vegan selection of products. Which are cheaper than the other two major supermarket chains.
Also a major benefit is parking and the relaxed atmosphere.

Awesome place first time shopper at drakes, only in Gympie for a few days and we don’t have one in caboolture, bloody awesome bakery dept. 💯% loved it.

Such a good selection of food and baked goods. The lamington cream sponge is the besttttt

I am shopping there more often. They are improving daily, they have good quality, friendly staff, open a checkout when more than a couple of people waiting. Will shop there as often as possible.
