We asked local friends to take us to the best pub in Gympie, and they aptly chose the Phoenix 🏠

Plenty of off street parking with stairs and a ramp to access the restaurant & bars

Table layout was great, with plenty of room to sit comfortably. Outdoor terrace dining as well as indoor and lounge seating, so a place for every occasion 🎉

There is an option to order meals & drinks from your table using a QR code, or you can order meals at the register and drinks from either of two adjacent bars 🍺

One of the bars features a great cocktail list with most fancy drinks being excellent value around $14 🍹

We ordered a medium 300g rib fillet steak with prawn topper and a serve of chicken satays & rice. Both meals were served promptly, presented perfectly and tasted great 😋 These were washed down with a couple of awesome craft tap beers 🍺

Followed up with lime cheesecake & coffees, also excellent 💯

I note there have recently been a couple of poor reviews for this venue, but our experience was nothing short of exemplary 🏆

Had the best time here, at Christmas 🎄 plenty of gorgeous food, great selection. Even seafood oysters too, my favourite. And I've never seen so many desert options, the cakes and puddings all looked so delicious l didn't know which one to choose. Great atmosphere, Santa gives out a gift to the children. The staff are so friendly and willing to help in any way. You must book ahead for this.
If your interested in a nice place to have a drink and a meal, this place is my favourite. Food is always amazing. 👌 l highly recommend it.

Lachlan is the best bartender he makes going to the Phoenix a wonderful experience. He has great customer service skills, friendly and makes the best cocktails. Your team is lucky to have such great staff. Highly recommend!

Everything was very enjoyable.
The Turkey was a little bit too dry for my taste. Ample Prawns and Oysters for everyone. Cheeses, Cold Meats and desserts were great. A bit more choice of GF would have been appreciated

Good food, happy with all dishes. Very generous portions. Fish Gumbo was particularly good. Kids dishes nice as well, so big that small kids could share a meal. All prices fair. Seating comfortable, its a Pub restaurant, so not fancy but its really ok and nice for families. Lots of parking available. Wheelchair ramp in place. Next to bottle shop. Friendly service.

Our first visit, after reading many recommendations on social media. Excellent food, well priced, friendly and helpful staff in a pleasant environment! We’ll be back 😃

Lovely night and appreciate some of my party could wear work clothes as they did not want to be late or miss out. Drinks were quick, food came out all at once. All round great night.

First time at the Phoenix, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, fantastic meal, can't fault anything at all.

Had an amazing chicken parmigiana here this evening - great serving size, delicious, quick (<20 minutes) and one of the crispiest, freshest salads I've ever had. Thank you for an enjoyable meal!

We travelled over an hour from Sunshine Coast - well worth the trip. Seniors meal great - coffee just as good.

Food was fantastic, and the young fella serving the food had outstanding customer service skills, give him a raise!!

The food was exceptional, the staff were more than happy to serve with us with a smile on their face and plenty of Christmas cheer. Definitely will go again next year.

A wonderful night out. Great atmosphere, very quick to bring out meals. Suitable for the whole family although no play area for kids but still a really good kids menu. Very friendly staff.
