Food is brilliant. A little fancy for Gympie but a unique menu. Always something new to try. Often breezy up on top of the hill and a view of the railway. Great parking. Seems to always be bustling. Vegetarian options abound.

Can recommend this place. Excellent coffee. The menu choice of chilli eggs was perfect. Poached eggs can be hit or miss, but these were amazing.

Additionally, I was very impressed by the light fitting.

Amazing cafe. The ambience of this cafe is beautiful as it has a nice rustic feel with plenty of different seating arrangements and some funky background music which is super cool. Food was amazing. It was well presented and had great flavours. Coffee has a really strong flavour which we loved. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service was great as all staff were super nice and attentive. Highly recommend.

The avo and fetta dish was amazing. Fresh avo and crunchy Turkish bread toast 😋 The cafe has a lovely relaxed vibe to it. Would recommend!

Cute cafe overlooking the railway station with a good selection of breakfast dishes.
Our coffee was quick to come out, tasted good and strong. We both ordered eggs on toast with an extra side to swap and share. Overall meal was delicious and I especially enjoyed the tomato relish.
Friendly staff and cute atmosphere.
Probably would choose a slightly different taste of music for morning meals, techno dance music in the background was a little weird. Won’t deduct a star for this though ;)
Walk off breakfast with a trip over to the railway station to check out the pop-up market and steam trains.

I’m visiting Gympie from Sydney and decided to eat here when I saw it from the outside. It has such an appealing streetscape.

I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of salmon. My friend asked for corn frittata. They were brought to our table promptly and they were nicely plated.

My breakfast was delicious as evidenced by the photograph of an empty plate.

This cafe could easily fit in the Newtown scene in Sydney.

Finding a parking space isn't so easy however ... the staff are friendly, the atmos is warm & welcoming, great food & coffee, I love the decor and the crazy earrings they have for sale are so cool!

I’d heard about this spot while doing some work in the community out in Gympie and wanted to check it out…. A great little cafe open for breakfasts and lunch and it really hit the spot. I couldn’t pass up the iced coffee on a hot day and there lunches and sweets were delicious. Plenty of sweet treats to choose from and although we went light for lunch? The plates coming out of the kitchen for others looked divine!
Will definitely be back and share with friend on this spot! Dog friendly and get in quick for parking in the area 😁👍

I just love travelling Australia, and finding these random cafes that just fill your belly with good food and drinks.
I highly recommend this place for great food, coffee, low cost and service.
Sitting on the hill near the Red Rattler train, you can eat inside or outside. It's on a busy road, but l didn't notice it.
Beautiful food at such a cheap price. There was a cake display too. Good-sized meal choices from $15. We even had a corona beer with our brunch meal.

This funky cafe was definitely worth detouring off the main highway for. Great coffee, yummy açai bowl and many other vegan delights combined with a friendly, relaxed and rustic atmosphere makes this cafe a little gem in Gympie.

Coming from the Inner West Sydney to rural Queensland, one of the things we do often miss is the coffee and food!

We often do the Brisbane to Bundaberg trek and have tried several different cafes and this is definitely now our go to

Had the chili eggs, they were delicious and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients

And the coffee is absolutely phenomenal. I'm a big craft beer guy and used to brew commercially, and this beer has that depth and complexity!!!!! Can't rate this coffee high enough!

Oh and outside is dog friendly! 🐕

Love this cafe. I have been many times for breaky, brunch, lunch, and a friend's birthday dinner. The staff are so friendly, the coffee is 10 out of 10. I love the fritters! Great muffins and croissants. We will be back.

Dropped my car off a Auto Air and than had a 5 hour wait at this wonderful Cafe.
Everything was perfect staff were great, the Cafe was so lovely and the food and COFFEE to die for.

Have just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at SoMa SoMa. Great food choices, very friendly service, and beautiful ambience. The cafe is a little off the highway for travellers passing through Gympie, but the short detour is well worth the drive. We’ll be back next time we’re passing through … that’s for sure 👍👏🙏

Delicious coffee and food. Plenty of choices for food and drinks. I had the spicy homemade beans, super yummy. Perfect amount of spice. The buttery Turkish bread with it soaked up all the liquid, delicious!
Very well priced. Heaps of seating. Friendly and attentive staff. Super clean. Toilets on sight. Bike rack nearby outside.

The food here was beautiful. My hot chocolate 🍫 was fabulous 👌

Awesome place, as soon as you arrives you find a good vibe. It is a cosy place that you must visit of you are on Gimpy. The food was awesome food. We had the Benedict eggs and hallumi roll. They were really friendly and accommodate a breakfast outside the menu for my toddler (scrambled egg with a tostie)

I had the chilli eggs with smoked salmon and I loved them!! We loved the place and the atmosphere. Service amazing as well. Thank you 😊
