At the commencement of a routine teeth-cleaning appointment, I politely expressed my reasonable objections to the compilation of a dental chart because I regarded that process as unnecessary, and because I did not wish to pay for the collection of my private data.

The dentist then refused to proceed with the appointment, informing me that I do not get to ‘dictate’ how they do things.

The only ‘dictating’ that I saw going on was the collection of personal information that might be used by authorities to identify me without my permission.

Approximately one-quarter of the appointment was devoted to the compilation of that chart. I was charged $190.90. Thus, I paid in the vicinity of $50 for a procedure that I consider to be intrusive and irrelevant, having been labelled a dictator in the process.

Had to wait a week for an appointment, then on the day was told that the dentist hadn't bothered to turn up. .., . And was given an appointment for the following week. Not good enough. Went to Griffith, had it fixed the same day. Miss Barry, never had any problems then
