We loved our visit to the blind chef cafe. Visited based on reviews and we were not disappointed. As eveyone has mentioned, big servings, amazing value for money and the meals were delicious. We can't wait to come back and try something else. Thanks for having us!

Cafe clean, tidy and Covid Compliant.

Tables and seating well thought out and seating is not cramped when eating.

All staff well groomed, courteous, polite and very helpful with menu inquiries and general questions.

Good range of food and drinks on menus, the food is delicious, well presented and well priced.

Well done by the staff who work well as a team and make the dining experience memorable.

At this stage it is probably worthwhile making a booking

Love this place ! Beautiful food and coffee, very friendly staff. We love taking our one year old here as she is obsessed with Rocko.

Friendly staff, big servings and delicious food. Pet Friendly and easily accessible. Really enjoyed my meal and was reasonably priced as well!

Penrith hottest cafe. Really enjoyed the atmosphere in the cafe. Staff were all smiles and Craig is wondering ensuring everyone is happy and well. Food was great and perfect portions for a quick sit down breaky.

Such friendly staff and Rocko the labrador was incredibly polite + very good at cleaning + surprisingly lean 🤤 (good on you fellow customers for not feeding him)

We had king prawn pasta and chicken schnitzel. The pasta was delicious and prawns cooked perfectly.

The schnitto was saltier but that's to be expected when you have BBQ sauce, melted cheese and bacon! Babycino was very generous with two marshmallows 😱

Looking forward to going back.

Bought brunch and coffee takeaway - Very nice brekkie burger, hash brown inside is perfectly crispy. Arancini very tasty too, coating is freshly crunchy and risotto is balanced savoury.

Craig's cafe is modern and the food and coffee second to none!
Craig's story is inspiring to all, not only those with a disability!

Loved the service, met Rocco the service dog, Pleasant, friendly staff . Sweet potato chips delicious , although too much for this elderly lady. Freshly made orange juice hit the spot. A pleasant walk from Riley street Penrith on a sparkling Autumn morning. A kid friendly place where children were welcomed

Rocky road is to die for
Basic eggs on toasts very delicious as well.
But pleasssseeeee clean the cups served with table water! They’re always dirty, residue of food/ingredients on both the outside an inside of the cup. This has happened to me every visit, of course I drink coffee but with food sometimes a glass of water is nice which I have to avoid due to this.

I’ve been attending this cafe for a few months now, and have not had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and accommodating with any request. I have food allergies, and have found that Carmen (chef) is friendly, funny, & wonderful, and has made it clear that it is no problem for her to alter any dish that I wish to order. Craig (chef & owner) is a true Aussie battler, a bit of a larrikin, and yes, he’s blind. Sue, (Craigs Mum) is warm and friendly, and great at keeping everything moving and everyone happy. There are other staff, and they are all friendly and competent.
The menu is full of tasty morsels, and the portions are quite large. They are always happy to provide a “doggy bag”, which means I get left overs for dinner. This leads me to “Rocco”. Rocco is Craig’s assistance dog. He welcomes people, checks in at your table as soon as your food arrives, to make sure you are satisfied, and will quite happily sit or lay by your table whilst you partake of your meal.
The meals here are wonderful, and I find myself always taking home a dessert or pastry from the cabinet, which happens to be next to the register on the way out.
As hubby and I are on the road full-time, and generally don’t get to spend much time in one place, it’s special when we find a place that we can feel comfortable and enjoy a good meal.

Great place in Penrith to enjoy fresh & tasty dishes. Love supporting local businesses & this one is very special. Craig & his team are friendly & host Rocko is just adorable. We’ve done dining in dark nights which are amazing & go often for brunch.

Came to the cafe today and had the best experience. We did a catch up with 3 people and the venue itself is awesome and has a great vibe. The staff are so attentive. They asked us how our meal was, topped up our water, took our order straight away, was very friendly. the food arrived very quickly. the food was incredible. highly recommend this place. Also had parking right outside the cafe. What a great cafe. thank you to the staff and chef that qas working today. we had such a fantastic experience here. definitely coming again.

Enjoyable setting, really lovely food. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. We love our 4 legged pooch, Rocko🐾. The attention to detail in preparation and execution of food is of a high standard. Definitely a venue to be revisited! Highly recommended!👨‍🍳👩‍🍳👍

The food here is lovely! I had the mushroom and eggs on toast - it was delicious. The juice was very refreshing and the dog was an added bonus! Great service and vibe. Would definitely recommend 👍
