Heatherbrae's Pies

The perfect stopover in Ourimbah. Grab a great feed and chill out in an unrushed atmosphere. The food is fantastico, the question is, can you stop at 1 pie?

We have been to this place twice—nice pit stop before heading to Sydney. We went at 7am on Good Friday, and it was already packed with a long queue. My favourite is Shepherd's pie. The milkshake is nice. The doughnut with cream and jam and custard pie are nice too. Friendly, prompt service. Recommended!

a must stop on any drive through Heatherbrae! service is great, pies are even better. Toilets, including an accessible one. Accessible parking and entrance. Drivethru if you're in a hurry but still need that pastry goodness!

We bought our first Heatherbrae pies today from Raymond Terrace. If only I had asked our customer service person his name. You were the most endearing, well spoken person we have ever met!!!

This is a clean, conveniently located, venue with plenty of parking, ample seating and clean toilets. It also remains one of the few remaining cafes that offers a worthy caramel malted milkshake. The men's toilets include the novelty of a bar theme. Wheelchair accessible and family friendly.

I've seen this place a million times and never stopped in. We did this time and we grabbed some pies for dinner on the way home from a trip up the coast. Well; they're great! I had the steak and kidney which tasted excellent and felt pretty healthy. My kids had pepper steak and steak and onion respectively and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Since I am a coffee addict, I had a large strong flat white at 7pm. It was delicious! I wish I had one now.

I strongly recommend making this a stop. It is far and away healthier for you than eating any of the seed oil garbage they sell at McDonalds and other fast food places. Real meat like this, even if it is in pastry, is exceptionally good for you and just what you need when travelling.

I also wanted to mention that we (mistakingly it turns out) thought my wife lost her wallet here. When we rang up about this the man on the phone was unbelievably accommodating and helpful. He could not have wanted to help more. He didn't have to be that nice and I think it is reflective of good training and an excellent organisation.

You can’t go wrong with these pies and sausage rolls. They are so good and there are many varieties to choose from. The restaurant was clean and tidy despite being busy and the long line went fast.

The boy who served us was so sweet, he was so lovely and the food was amazing - I’m not sure what his name was but he served us two sausage rolls, a Shepards pie and a pepper steak pie. If I knew his name I would strongly suggest his manager give him a good pat on the back. Everything was 10/10, definitely stop here the next time you go past.

We were so glad we stopped to try out their Pies. They are to Die For.. The Curry Steak and Mushy Peas we're great. Staff we're friendly and Courteous. Will definitely be going back. That's why I gave them a well deserved 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This pie shop has a huge variety of pies. Sweet, savoury, uncooked and family sized.

I ordered the steak mince pie and shepherds pie. I also ordered a spinach and cheese sausage roll.

The steak mince pie was juicy and scrumptious. The dough was fresh. There was no fat in the meat pie to be found. This is how I know it was a 5/5 pie.

The Shepherd pie had soft mash potato and once again no fat found in the chunky lamb. The lamb was tender and easy to chew.

When you opt in to buy the gravy they give it to you on the side. It was thick and smooth with no clumps. The taste was delightful and fit well with the pies.

I highly recommend this place for any pie lover. I regret not buying their uncooked variety.

Such a busy place. Young lady who took our order was extremely pleasant and very helpful, such a lovely smile. Although it was busy, it was quite pleasant. Both caps were to our liking. Great job.

I dropped in here on my way to Fingal Bay.
The GF pie that my wife enjoyed and the curry pie that I ordered were excellent. So much so that we made a point of dropping in again on the way back home.
The first time was drive through but we ate inside the second time. Also their coffee was great.

Heatherbrae's pies either met or exceeded all of my expectations. The price was reasonable and the pies we're awesome. Sausage rolls were particularly good. It was really really busy here but the service was extremely fast. They have a very efficient system so despite the crowd you still have your food in less than 3 minutes after you enter the doors.

Great stop off on a long drive. Pies were brilliant, fresh, full of flavour and so delicious. Staff were friendly and so efficient at getting through the line of customers with a smile on their faces! Will definitely be coming back again on my way home from my trip!! Cannot recommend enough

The gluten free chunky beef pie is phenomenal! The best pie I have ever had. The pastry is absolutely mouthwatering. The beef just melts in the mouth. I would never poison these pies with sauce

We always stop here with kids (x4). The toilets are well kept, there is a large patch of grass, the food is delicious and the coffee is 🤌🏼. Highly recommend.

Always good for a stop in and a decent feed. Yesterday we were served by Jenny who was so friendly, organised, and just a delight to deal with. Absolutely made our day! Thanks Jenny!

Great pies and pastries. Excellent efficient service. Very fast given the amount of people at a lunchtime rush. Customer service was top notch. Staff are all pleasant and friendly.

The Jillaroo was delish and also walked away with a cherry and apple family pie to take on the camping trip. Was perfection!

A good place to stop by and have a nice meal. Me and my family stopped here on our way to Port Macquarie, and we had some of their meatpies. Very lovely, and as expected there's a wide-variety of pies to choose from. They also have some good apple juice and drinks. I definitely recommend Heartherbrae's Pies.
