What a great cafe, food was nice and hot and the bacon was cooked to perfection and my coffee was just the right amount of awesome.
Staff are so welcoming always smiling and having a chat to make the cystomers day just that little bit special.

I’ve been going to Fred’s now for many years. The staff are always welcoming and the coffee is undoubtedly the best in Penrith! Whenever I eat there the food is tasty and fresh. The only downside is that they are closed on Saturday… so I have to endure a instant coffee. However, they definitely deserve and need their days off. Grateful 🩷

Me and my partner came here for the first time and the staff were really friendly and the wait for the food was shorter than expected, the price range is better than a lot of places and the food was amazing

Lovely Cafe right in the top of High St Penrith!! Pretty easy to find parking compared to Cafe Upstairs.
Caring, friendly thoughtful, helpful wait staff, looks like they are part of the family not just employees!! Bosses: treat your staff like these girls and your business will THRIVE!!!
Really casual place, chairs and wall benches don't really encourage you to stay long though!! Plenty of coffee and soft drink options, all day 'no rules' menu, (breaky all day any way you like it!!) reasonable prices (actually my favourite gluten free cashew vanilla slice is $0.50 cheaper than their other Cafe Upstairs!!!).
Meals look very tempting and very well priced. Check out the blackboard menu for yummy specials.

This place is lovely. I especially love how the staff have treated us. If they’re busy they won’t ignore you like most cafes. They acknowledge you and tell you they’re coming back to serve you. I love that. The food is always lovely too. Thank you. (:

My go to when I want a good coffee. Consistently great at coffee. I'm yet to be disappointed after many coffees from Cafe Fred. The staff are always attentive, quick and friendly. Oh, and I shouldn't forget the food - great snacks. I've had wraps, BLATs, yogurt cups etc. ....all great!

Food is fantastic. They have a reliable selection of healthy quick sandwiches and wraps but if you order from the specials board you’re in for a treat. The Reuben sandwich I had was to die for.
