Mamas and papas pizza

We were passing by Gympie late in the evening and there wasn't much options around. We decided to give this place a try and the pizza was really great! The dough was well made and the flavours of the toppings was good. Loved the garlic bread too x

I have been ordering from Mama's and Papa's for many years - dine-in, takeout and delivery - I am always impressed with the quality. The doordash service they use for delivery now sometimes is a bit slow (so sometimes results in a slightly cold pizza) - but this is in no way a reflection on this pizzeria.

My usual go-to's are the Calabrese pasta (fettuccini) with added chicken, or the Supreme pizza with added prawn and chilli.

This place is top quality. The restaurant is clean and simple. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The pizzas huge with a good amount of topping. Will always come here when I’m back in Gympie. I ordered supreme with anchovies added and got about 1.5 per slice - perfecto. Also got chicken with bacon added and meat lovers. My Dad who is the fussiest person alive, loved the pizzas. Four of us only ate one and a half pizzas.

Really tasty and heartwarming pizza on a Sunday night in Gympie. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and service was with a smile. They have a great drinks selection, and Gary has a fantastic pizza menu. Mamma's and Pappa's is as homely as it gets. What more could you possibly want?

Consistently good pizza. 🍕 Don't forget that they do great pasta, too. Also, if you ask nicely, they'll provide 1 pizza split in half with different toppings on each half.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mama & Pappa's Pizza Shop in Gympie, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The menu offered an extensive range of authentic Pizza and Pasta dishes, including my personal favourites - the Pepperoni Pizza and the Bolognese. The toppings were fresh, the sauce was flavorsome, and the crust was perfectly crispy. In addition to the pizza and pasta, the Greek Salad was a refreshing and delicious side dish.

Overall, Mama & Pappa's Pizza Shop exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was exceptional, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Pizza and Pasta experience in Gympie. Five stars all around!

Toppings were thick, fresh and so tasty. We ate in, which you have the choice of inside or outside in the courtyard. Also, we could byo drinks 👍.
We had a half half pizza, family size for $26. Yummo. You won't be disappointed.

First time ordering pizzas from here a few weeks ago whilst in Gympie. Their pizzas are incredible. Fresh, flavoursome and beautiful ingredients. Truly standout pizzas. Great, friendly service in a wonderful historic location. Looking forward to visiting again-cannot stress how amazing these pizzas are.

Stopped in on a whim on a trip through town. Fabulous service, really nice pizza. Loved the chili infused olive oil to drizzle on when dining in. Will definitely return next time we're passing through.

Random stop away from the food chains that dot the Highway through Gympie and what a surprise and well worth the stop. Traditional style pizza joint, full selection. Ordered a take away Capricciosa. And what a choice, a flavoursome hearty pizza made from freshest ingredients and quality cheese's, the crust perfection. Was ready in 10mins. Will definitely be pulling in again when passing through Gympie. Much cheaper meal than the well known brand names.

Excellent food! The food was fresh, served professionally, and the manager was friendly. My kids and my hubby enjoyed the food, but he enjoyed the pizza the most. Amazing place, totally would come here again. 👍

Have eaten these pizza's many times always my go to for the best pizza ... never had an issue with anything... lovely friendly staff.. great service and the yummiest pizza ❤

I decided to try out M&P pizzas based on the mixed reviews and being new to town.
It was worth the visit, no doubts! Pleasant experience from counter staff, cleanliness, presentation and quality of pizzas. I’ll be back, Thank you for a pleasant evening !
