Tong Li Supermarket Castle Hill

This supermarket’s a real gem with top-notch stock, but the checkout service is a bit of a mixed bag. You’ve got the staff gabbing about TV shows while customers are lined up out the door. It’s as frustrating as trying to herd kangaroos! Maybe they should consider adding some self-serve machines – they’re quicker, more reliable, and won’t leave you hanging like the current setup.

Variety of Asian food items at reasonable prices.

Very convenient and you get everything as they have Western and Asian groceries all in one place. Excellent frozen food section. Brunei prawns sold here is the best raw prawns. When cooked they do not shrink like the other frozen prawn brands and they actually have a taste. $29 for 700gm but totally worth it.

Huge range of grocery, everything u need for an Asian family, now combining with IGA Xpress, it's even more handful.

Well stocked with good variety of items. It can get very busy and crowded with a bit of a queue at the cashier. Their fresh vegetables also tend to sell out quickly so get there early.

You can even get cheaper chips here than woolies for example.

Good variety available without having to go to different Asian shops. Also, I particularly would like to commend and thank your staff, Jason. He kindly allowed me use his phone when I mistakenly locked myself (including my handbag which had my phone and keys) out of my car, and had to ask to borrow his phone to ring Roadside Assistance to unlock it.

This is the biggest Asian grocer I have seen. They have heaps more food ingredients for various Asian cuisine. Definitely the place to go if you are in driving distance or you happen to be visiting the area :)

This store recently reopened (mid 2020) in its new space in Castle Mall and it looks fantastic. The range of Asian products is broad, they are well-stocked and priced more aggressively than competitors (perhaps due to cheaper rent in the Mall).

Newly open supermarket in that shopping centre. It's much bigger and tidy than before. There are many different kinds of products, especially the Asian goods. The place is clean and staff are very friendly. It's a good place to go.

Large shop. Wide variety of Foods. Easy to walk around. Clean and tidy. There is a special machine at cashier which accepts both notes and coins. Customers don't have to pay to the cashier. Wow.

Such a large selection of Chinese groceries. Found everything I need including some asian snacks and bok choy. So many brands that are new to me. I felt like I was in a foreign land. Loved it

The best variety of any Asian store in the Hills. This is your one stop shop to get supplies whether it is sauces, noodles, rice, condiments, rare ingredients, etc

Helpful staff, wide range of products from fresh, frozen, dried and canned. From desserts, snacks, sauces and condiments to baby food and more. One stop shop for Asian needs.👍

They have a large selection of Asian kitchen staples. Definitely my preferred Asian grocery in the hills district.

It's good and convenient to have a Chinese supermarket nearby. I go shopping there every week and don't need to go all the way to Hornsby.

Best Asian Grocery for Castle Hill area. Clean, large variety, other suburbs can be cheaper - but it’s Castle Hill, everything is more expensive here.

Been coming here for years and enjoyed the variety of drinks and noodles.

The workers are very friendly.
