David Jones - Macarthur Square

Is this store a bit pricey? Yes. Do you get what you pay for? Absolutely! The staff at David Jones have typically been quite attentive and helpful for as long as I can remember - and that's about 30 years at this point in December 2023. Their prices are not competitive, but their level of customer service is second to none.

Loved their collections and friendly service. Definitely going back again.

They have people there to sell you things that you might crave. The air is breathable and you should easily survive your visit and complete your purchasing experience.

You've might want to be careful because they can take your breath away! Be prepared to be amazed by the fact they have gravity in the store! Remember, if you drop an egg, it won't float like one of Pennywise's balloons..... you have been forewarned.

Being such a big store with low staff, going into a David jones store you know your service won’t be amazing.

BUT yesterday I received amazing customer service from Maria Harris at the David jones MacArthur square store.

She was just so kind, lovely, professional, honest and just made my shopping experience so nice.

And definetley deserved this review.

The ideal blend of attitude and sophistication without the ego of staff

Every now and then I like to treat myself and David Jones stores whether is in the Suburbs or in the City is the place to be .

We had a fantastic experience with Abe from Politix last week. Abe went above and beyond to assist us in store and to source specific pieces for us.

Very helpful and professional advice and friendly always a pleasure shopping in David Jones it’s one of my favourites shops

A very small DJ's but when where staff, as I wandered the store, was more than willing to greet me and ask how I could be helped.

Staff helpful with offers to assist. Extensive range of sunglasses at reasonable prices. Great store if after mens wear. Good range beauty gifts for women.Always clean and tidy. They have lifts & escalators.

Usual DJ with good service as we expect. Quality is abound on every level. Very good selections available on everything in store. Clothing section is cramped but has a lot to choose from. Parking is adequate but around Xmas it can become full which is expected everywhere..

I have been to the Clinique make up counter in David Jones Macarthur to get advice on makeup. Sami was very helpful with advice and she tried a few different products to see which is best. She also asked me straight away if I needed help and gave me some samples to try out. at home. This is very helpful as I have wasted a lot of money on makeup that wasn't suitable. It is nice to come across someone who wants to work instead of ignoring you.

I went in there tonight looking for perfumes and Christmas gifts for my clients and Beata was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She served my husband and I the highest level of customer service. She cared so much about us and looked after us very well. Even gave us her honest opinion on what we should buy. The lady truly deserves a pay rise or at least a recognition for the outstanding service. God bless you always and I wished more people were like you when it comes to retail shopping as most aren’t that pleasant to deal with. Hope to see you around Beata. I had the pleasure of being served by Melanie. Melanie was very attentive to my needs and was very polite and friendly. I’ve never had service quite like this in any other David Jones. This experience made it very easy to shop without stress, especially as it’s the holiday season.

Great store with great discounts at Christmas and Boxing day. With great service from staff. But Cafe should've stayed open longer for shoppers.

A massive thank you to the wonderful ladies in the home wares section. Thank you for the fantastic service and support with our Kitchenaid food processor. Very supportive and understanding, going above and beyond. Could not have asked for a more thoughtful and pleasant team. Pity Kitchenaid didnt follow the same position as David Jones Macarthur.
