Have all my 3 Toyotas serviced there, Matt is honest and reliable. The word rip off does not come close to this shop. Have tried many other mechanics around here, will only ever recommend Matt.

Took my car to get break pads changed. He charged me much cheaper than initially quoted when I phoned. Nice vibe, nice people. very happy to find nice mechanic since my previous one started become dodgy.

I've been meaning to write a review for Matt and the team for a little while now. Stoked to have a local mechanic I can trust as i've only lived in Byron for a couple of years.

I used to get my old Toyota Hiace van serviced at Bayshore and was always happy with the pricing, service and professionalism. But the last couple of times i've had a few weird things happen to my new van (Misubishi Delica) the team at Bayshore have gone above and beyond to get her back on the road.

The last example was when a friend helped me jumpstart my Delica (i'd left the lights on) but he accidentally hooked the jumper leads up to his car in reverse (positive on negative etc) which resulted in blowing all the electrics in my van. I was worried it was going to be a massive bill!!

Had the NRMA/Simmo's emergency service guy come around, he replaced one fuse and said he didnt have time to do any more checks. Got it towed to Bayshore Motors, and one of the auto-electricians jumped on it straight away and even let me watch what he was doing so I could learn a bit. Bayshore ended up replacing 4 or 5 fuses and spent about 30-40mins testing and problem solving until we got her running well again (this all could've been done on the side of the road by Simmos guy - I even suggested it was probably just more fuses -but he said didnt have time, even though I paid him via NRMA come out).

To cut a long story short, Bayshore fixed everything straight away and only charged me $20 - which at the end of the day is really just a token amount to cover the fuses. I've never visited a mechanic before and had a bill of less than $100. And this is the second time Bayshore have looked at my Delica in good spirit - the first time they didnt charge me anything (although granted it was a very small issue)!

Anyway, just wanted to say that these guys really know what they're doing and they really seem to be here to help people without trying to rip you off. Cool little family business!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I had to get my car checked after a minor accident. They spontaneously squeezed me in so that I could drive the long way home without any worries.
