I was immediately drawn to this spot with their welcoming alleyway to cool ville shared with a local gardener. At first I thought it looked a tad dark but soon realised this was a blessing to escape the heat of the sun! My family and I were in varying points between breakfast and lunch goers, and there was something to cater to everyone. We ordered beers, juices, smoothies, salads, a roll, and the potato breakfast and everyone was really happy with the value for money and quality of the food. The servers were witty and accomodating and it was an overall great experience!

An absolute gem of a place. Dropped in on the recommendation of a local whilst the car was charging nearby. Eggs Kurasawa with salmon was great.

Super long black coffee so i had a second . I chose the scrambled eggs with greens and chilli jam on sourdough. Very, very good Good service, fair prices and inside and outside seating. The inside seating is semi dark. Are they trying to do Hernando's Hideaway? I enjoyed eavesdropping on the boomer convos. They don't have much to worry about here in their chosen paradise but they try.
Sept 2023 Went back today and we had Nasi Goreng and Beef curry and rice for lunch. Wunderbar

The Cafe has lots of character and bubbly staff to compliment the experience.

This was a lucky find as we're from Brisbane and don't know the area.

By the name I was worried it was going to be American themed menu but it was far from that.
Asian inspired menu and everything was Delicious.
The Barista had attitude that he could lose to make the overall experience fabulous.

The Rock & Roll café is an iconic local foodie meca tucked away in a great little bohemian alley, serving up some the best cuisine I’ve ever tried!

I absolutely love their Tofu Kurosawa dish, which is an incredible plant based sushi poke bowl with divine textures and flavours helping to make it a profound, fine dining experience.

The staff are absolutely lovely and friendly with impeccable service (you always feel you’re part of the family). Plus the funky décor and ambiance is always joyful with a relaxed laid back vibe.

I highly recommend a lunch outing at the Rock & Roll café next time you’re in Mullumbimby.

I quite possibly just had the greatest Nasi Goreng of my life here! It was exceptional and I never wanted it to end : -) Shout out to the staff as well as the chef. Great service, super friendly, great vibes!

We found this place for breakfast while we were walking and it was a big surprise for us. Staff was lovely and food was incredible. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch. Thank you guys

The service was quick and the staff extremely pleasant and attentive. We werethere for lunch and we surely didn't lack the options both for the meat eaters and for the vegetarian ones. The food and the smoothies we got were in generous portions, taste rich, very genuine and made with love.
The music was classic rock on the right volume to be able to talk, so all in all the Rock & Roll was a very nice find, the perfect spot to chill and have a great bite.

I never think to review places, but this place was so nice with such a good vibe i had to share. The staff were very warm and friendly. I stumbled across this place while waiting for my car to finish at the mechanic and was sad to leave. It's the kind of place I would've happily stayed all day, drinking coffee, reading, and basking in the laid back, groovy music. Absolute dime of a spot
