Empire Cafe Mullumbimby

This is more than just a restaurant! This is where family comes to celebrate each others company after a busy week, where friends reward themselves at a end of a hard day at work and a place where you feel like home follows you into town. Heads up watch out for a cheeky octopus as it will kindly but so fluently abduct you into staying longer… no complaints from our end! :)

Great little spot. Nina makes great coffee and the best milkshakes. Very kid friendly place.

5 stars all round! Amazing service. Table service which is so hard to find these days at a cafe. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Nobody does sourdough toast with “just” butter and jam as well as Empire! Coffee butter and homemade berry preserve is delish! Oh and the coffee - the best we have had at a cafe in years! Will be back whenever we are back this end of the country.

Wow, Great coffee - doesn’t get any better when you stop for a takeaway & find an excellent barista using superb Marvell St roast coffee beans. Certainly recommend the long black & soy latte.

Have had many great meals at the Empire. So organised Elke and Kevin to cater for a private event. The variety and quality was excellent. They were very reliable bringing everything to us so we could relax, enjoy the food and everyone’s great comments (Portuguese tarts amazing) Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

very possibly the best beef burger I've ever had. Extremely lively and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town

Had an amazing experience for breakfast this morning.
The staff were so warm & welcoming. Coffee sensational & breaky was a feast of flavours. The whole Empire experience was a sensational way to start the day.

Beautiful coeliac friendly super yummy burger, GF chips and the Nutella Hot Chocolate Mocha that was TO DIE FOR. Great service aswell. Highly recommended!!! xx

Stopped off for a quick snack before hitting the road again.
Great food (that croissant French toast with bacon was amazing), great staff and helpful.

Had a quick brekkie, beautiful 🥐 toasted with ham and cheese. Fresh and buttery, husband had 🥑. Topped off with great coffee, juice and service. Staff couldn't do enough for us.

The Empire, is our favourite place to eat and/or have beverages, in our hometown of Mullumbimby.

The food is always great, the service is brilliant, the staff are friendly and helpful, the décor is superb, the ambiance is absolutely beautiful and the golden lattes are so delicious.

We highly recommend them.
