Pink Lotus Mullumbimby

My wife, three boys, and I recently enjoyed a delightful experience at The Pink Lotus in Mullumbimby. The courteous gentlemen at the front graciously seated us in the charming courtyard, suggesting their exquisite BBQ skewers which proved to be a delectable and fresh choice. Despite our lively boys, the warm welcome extended to us was truly appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and eagerly anticipate our return visit.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was outstanding, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the host. Despite our booking mishap for the wrong day, he graciously found us a seat and ensured we felt welcome. His recommendation of the mango salad with barramundi and the Mekong chicken was spot-on, both dishes were a culinary delight. Kudos to the staff and the chefs for the memorable dining experience. We'll certainly be returning!

Pink Lotus offer Asian street style cooking with daily specials. We had barramundi in banana leaf and papaya salad with a generous serve of steamed rice. Bookings are recommended. Excellent value at around $35 per head plus drinks.

We could eat the Tofu Laksa here every single day. Amazing customer service. Fresh and super tasty food. Highly recommend.

My partner and I absolutely love this restaurant. We’re from Sydney and the food here doesn’t even compete with the Vietnamese restaurants there. You can taste every flavour, every natural ingredient and zero msg/heaviness after a meal. We came and stayed in the Uki area for 4 days, and 2 of the nights we had dinner here. Not to mention how friendly the staff are, particularly Brad - he’s such a beautiful soul, very friendly, very welcoming - you just feel at home. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to tell all our family and friends about it!

Incredible Vietnamese dishes. Our first meal in Mullum and everything was spectacular. The cocktails were strong and delicious too. Highly recommended

Epic experience, fried mushrooms were amazing followed by vego laksa. The place was full so advise you to book a table. Staff were so friendly and happy. Thanks to bread and butter services for showing us where to eat!

Very good Vietnamese restaurant. One of the best I had in Australia. The staff is great and the margaritas are tasty. Portions size are big. I recommend 100% and will be back.

Great food. Recommended by the locals, and they were right. Food is tasty and the outdoor seating on a warm night, with a cold beer in hand is just what I was looking for. The place gets pretty packed so it’s a good idea to book ahead

Vegan pho is my new obsession. A nice little selection of vegan options and everything looks super fresh and yums. Can’t wait to be back! EDIT*: vegan pho was great during dinner, but not as good at lunch. Still tasty but very very salty.

I usually get the beef pho which has been good every time but the fried rice and sizzling mushrooms I got last time were good as well The staff always seem friendly

I had a really good coconut and mango smoothie here, and it was ready immediately. It was remarkable

traveled through town and was recommended to try the pho.  after traveling alot I have to admit this was one of the best pho I ate.

Booking was done online with time slots you need to pick from for sit- down dinner. It was busy with plenty of staff. Orders were taken quickly and with a smile and chat. Lovely to see lots of action in the kitchen and staff were on the ball.
In fact, I would say one of the “Best” I have been witness to in regards to service. Unfortunately I forgot to snap some photos! I was enjoying myself too much. Food was flavoursome, fresh and distinct. Had several entrees ,x2 mains and beverage for x2 adults. Roughly $100(with Tip)
Love the little story behind The Pink Lotus. Made me want to cry. Love the seating where you can sit on the bench seat with your back against the wall.

Pretty good food catering to the local palette.

The restaurant is very well design giving you the authentic Vietnamese style.

Love this restaurant. We travel from Kingscliff regularly for lunch. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu. We always have the yellow curry then choose other dishes to try.

We love Pink Lotus, our fifth time back. Last night the staff were very accommodating and the food (as always) is so delicious and fresh. My in-laws from Melbourne were impressed 😊 Don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars on google!
