Great service and the food was good value for the large portion size.
The dips and bread were exceptional and it all tasted better with the very hot chilly.

Flew from Melbourne and We went on a Drive from Surfers to Mullumbimby on our way to Byron Bay to especially stop for lunch to support this Israeli Yemenite local restaurant. Amazing food. Great humus, shnitzel and falafel. A range of kosher products on sale from wine to dips to soup mixes and awesome service by the staff. Obviously very popular with locals and visitors.

Extremely tasty food and popular eatery bringing Yemen and Israeli cuisine to the hippie haven Mullumbimby. The team at Yaman have nailed it. The falafel Malawch is a delight that's incidentally vegan. Excellent use of tahini and freshly baked Yemen bread are the highlights of what is essentially a terrific falafel kebab. A little pricey at $16, underwhelming falafels, and a long wait were the only - relatively minor - drawbacks I could find.

Not cheap, but ludicrously good food, very vegetarian friendly. Outstanding

We took one bite and already were planning our next visit. Kudos to the incredibly polite young girl who was cleaning the tables, went out of her way to help us. You don’t get that service much any more these days. See you soon.

Great place. Lovely fresh food. Nice music. Lovely staff. We had a cauliflower pocket and a kebab pocket, both very tasty and fresh and full of flavour.

We are on our honeymoon in Byron and were recommended this place by a Byron local. One word - Delicious!! We ordered the chicken plate and hummus falafel plate, with a table serving of zaatar chips, followed by a green tea with baklava and brownie. Service was great, quick, efficient. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great food in a relaxed setting. Take home favourites available from the fridge. Plenty of vego options and great coffee. Melawach plate is amazing, simple yet so tasty!

I had the Hummus Falafel Plate here and it was so delicious. Lauren took great care checking and double checking with the kitchen whether the food was safe for my egg and nut allergies after I’d even left the counter.

I had the kebab malawach with chilli and my partner had the chicken plate. Both of us loved our dishes and felt very satisfied after finishing. Would 100% recommend and will be returning next time I'm in Mullumbimby.

Who knew there would be such great Middle Eastern food in the middle of Mullumbimby. This is really a great restaurant.

My partner and I had the malawach roll and the sabich roll, which also came in malawach bread. Both of these dishes were really good. Malawach is like a pancake formed by layers of puff pastry, and is incredibly yum. Could not recommend this restaurant more!

Took a detour on a drive from the Sunny Coast to the Byron shire to stop at this fantastic little cafe on a rather hot day. The felafel hummus plate was delicious, the portion of Israel salad could have been a bit bigger. The hummus was incredible, so creamy, and the felafel really nicely seasoned. My husband declared the chicken schnitzel pita pocket “sensational’ - high praise indeed.
Lots of outside tables that are dog friendly. Large selection of dips and other yummy items to take away. Oh, and kosher pickles and bread and cakes from Vinuage in Melbourne. A rare find.

Absolutely delicious food and coffee. The best Shakshouka I have ever tried.. If I visit again definitely coming back to this restaurant. The staff are nice and friendly.

Literally feels like the heart & soul of Mullumbimby. People have big smiles who eat and work here. Delicious. Feels cleansing. Much love.

We really enjoyed this meal.
I had Yemen Style Wrap. The creamed Feta is so unusual and full of flavor.
The wrapping was a bit like a roti, freshly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.
Suzie had the chicken plate with rice, hummus and Israeli salad.
The chicken was especially delicious. We recommend ordering their unique thick Pita bread to go with.
You can also buy a range of sauces, pickled products, dips and other foodstuffs to take home.
The place was busy with many colorful local people.
