Mountain Blue Cafe

Great cafe on the way to the Blue Mountains from Sydney. Decent coffee. Clean facilities.

I have the best coffee here but I probably have ever had in Australia to be honest. And I’m not joking I mean seriously the coffee here is exceptional. I would highly recommend stopping by here even if it’s out of your way because it is worth it.

Wonderful food with great varity on selection. Would recommend the pasta or the cheesy fries with bacon. Wonderful staff and amazing selection of drinks ranging from tea (from T2), Great coffee, silky smooth milkshakes, softdrinks etc.

Friendly staff, quick service, extensive menu with so many appealing options (and customisation available). Food was hot and salad ingredients were fresh. Great!

It's a 4 hour run from Newcastle to Bathurst.

what we call it. Great food, clean toilets,, we all like that don't we.

If you go there don't miss out on the salmon and avocado salad, it's super delicious and look great on the serving dish
There pasta was good, unfortunately I couldn't eat much as I was on no carb diet then, I just had to cheat... simply couldn't resist...lol
The prawn dish was fabulous and the sauce was great, just a great combination
It's an experience that I would love to have again
If you are driving to the blue mountains make sure to stop there
I have to add something about the little shop inside the cafe which was fantastic
Lots of little beautiful goods, opals and tokens. A very good place for the ladies to hang around ..... It could be a bit pricey but i think it is still reasonable
Again it's a highly recommended place and you should give it a go if you are near Penrith area ... it is worth the drive

This is one of the best location for snacks and choice of Tea / Coffee with great hand painted picture of prominent places in Australia.

Always make us feel at home, kids welcome, decent prices, good quality food and coffee.

Serves great coffee; albeit take away service may be slow
